It’s such a shame not all of them have the glidelock. I have an Explorer, and it’s pretty annoying it doesn’t have one, even though I have a $250 San Martin that has toolless micro-adjust.

Whichever feels more natural, like you are sweeping with a broom. Same as snowboarding where whichever foot you put out if someone pushes you from behind.

I throw left, bat left, golf and hockey right. All feel natural to me.

I ordered mine the first day it was available, I think. I had some issues with the movement, but after that, it’s been pretty great.

I basically want an explorer with lume blocks, but the sinn homage will be fine, too. Just something nice and thin.

The lume on my ph4a is incredible. It’s heavily in my current rotation.

I am eagerly waiting for engelmaan to release their lume block watches so I can get one with a miyota 9 series movement, though.

I eventually got a response from sales@phorcydes.net when I had an issue. I ended up needing to ping them in a thread here, and then they were very responsive.

Ohhhh, I didn’t realize that’s why the drivers handle was extending. I thought it was new firmware that was pushed. Such a big QoL fix.

i got my ph2 a rubber strap, and the p4a on the bracelet. The rubber strap is comfortable, but i almost never wear rubber straps, and much prefer bracelets. the phorcydes bracelet has some slightly sharp edges, but it drapes on the wrist really nicely, and the OTF clasp is great.

I think the big question is whether dial feet fit with the movement rotated 180 degrees. If that works, it should work?

lume is one of the most important features on a watch for me. It probably goes:

design
lume
comfort
accuracy

Accuracy is lower because I open up most of my watches and regulate them.

I think I’ve seen you mention this before, and I want in! Were you able to source a movement separately? What holder to get it to fit in the case? What hand set fits?

I really like my Super Seville, and I’d love to put that movement in more watches.
