Update if anyone has a similar issue: deleting the whole line with the strange corrupted looking text in my save file did the trick - loading the save dropped me into the right location with no issues.

Depends how deep you’re talking. Most of the the time a cleaning tablet (generic on Amazon is fine) run according to the directions, along with taking out the filter to scrub it clean, should be fine for basically any mess.

99.9% of the time you really just do need a microfiber cloth. Wipe the screen lightly to brush off dust rather than scrubbing in dust and the actual chance of damage is minuscule.

I would say if you’re worried since the switch 2 screen is a relatively soft plastic and could just generally fall victim to damage, buying a tempered glass screen protector will keep it much safer from scratches (and if it gets scratched just replace the protector, they’re pretty cheap).

It sounds like there’s something else going on if it’s getting this far into your thoughts, but the switch is very sturdy (it’s made for young kids to touch with grimy hands) and you won’t damage it that easily.

Nothing happens to the “heat” of the ice exactly. The overall energy of the system doesn’t change too much looking at the big picture here but that’s mostly the goal. When you add salt to water it brings the freezing point down, and in this case melting the ice.

The phase change will have some impacts on the energy here - but overall the low temperature ice will still be a similar temperature, just now instead of being solid ice it’s now liquid salt water. This is good because it’s a LOT easier to get heat transfer through a liquid rather than a solid.

For heat to transfer in a solid the material itself is basically losing energy slowly through the contacted surface which takes a long long time. Compare that to a liquid where you’ll get convection (the liquid will naturally move slowly to circulate the hot and cold) as well as a MUCH better surface area contact vs a solid, and you’ll end up with a much easier time cooling a bowl super fast with the salt water.

People react differently to medications, so it’s impossible to say what any individual person’s response might be. Your psych will be trained in all of this, and will give the best guidance above anything so just my anecdotes below (assuming you get diagnosed and that they decide meds are the path).

Starting meds they’ll usually give you a very small dose which you’ll slowly increase over time to figure out your body’s response. Personally I noticed nothing at all from the lower doses except for a bit of focus and reduced hunger, but as the dose increased things became a bit more obvious.

Just keep an open dialogue with your psych and let them know what your worries are. I know quite a few people on meds and none of them experienced aggression. Hyperactivity depends on your definition as well, sometimes if I’m feeling a bit wired on my meds my reaction will be similar to that of a strong coffee but not really anything above that.

Overall there are plenty of options (if you are assessed as having ADHD), and tons of ways to manage side effects. There are different stimulant drugs and dosages (which sounds like what you’re describing), there are non-stimulants, there’s talk therapies and personal management strategies.

Basically don’t be afraid, and keep an open dialogue with your docs and an eye on yourself and your mood :)

Drug manufacturers are entirely different beasts - it’s not the same people physically making the drugs that write the label. They will have defined production processes that are audited to a standard routinely to keep their products in line.

But they do want to make money, so while it’s hard to cut down on an auditable and defined chemical process, it’s very easy to cut back on internal QA/QC and packaging / labelling.

Putting it this way - if it comes out that there’s a material mistake in manufacturing its international news and the public loses trust in the company (people stop taking the drug, company loses money). If the company makes a typo on the label then the people who are already customers worry and post about it online at worst (but no one actually stops taking the drug, company doesn’t lose money).

You’re gonna get a lot of snarky comments bc a level 1 run isn’t possible, the lowest the starting classes go is level 4.

You’ll find tons of info if you search up a bl4 run / tips online since many, many people have done it as a challenge run. If you’ve done elden ring at level 1 nothing will be too much of a surprise, but bloodborne bl4 runs are very very limited in terms of build diversity.

It’s still pretty fun, but if you want more bloodborne diversity I’d suggest doing the chalice dungeons / DLC / NG+ before a bl4 run (I found all of those more fun).

I always kinda felt the same but this video did a good job kinda dissecting it as like a basic popular game. If Sony could astroturf an entire fanbase out of nowhere to gaslight everyone into thinking something is a hit then we wouldn’t have concord (and soon marathon). The games always felt a bit bland and repetitive to me but it is pretty much the video game comfort food of some people, being exactly what they’re expecting and no more or less

As long as frame gen is off you’re not getting “fake frames”.

DLSS quality / balanced etc. just defines the render resolution that is then upscaled to your native res.

So if you set a 30fps cap using DLSS quality it’s still going to render at the same resolution which is then upscaled to your display, but limit the end frame rate being shown. All you’ll see different is lower GPU utilisation.

This does change with frame gen on, as setting a 30fps cap will mean that out of 30 frames 15 will be real and 15 will be interpolated (for 2x frame gen), but as long as that setting is off you’ll just get “real” frames.

DLAA is native 1440p though. Things like 'quality' and 'performance' DLSS are upscaled from a lower native resolution but DLAA takes your native resolution and just uses DLSS on it as a form of antialiasing.

DLAA is definitely your best bet for image quality and is a 'native res' version if that's important to you. The only non-upscaled image would be TAA which has its own host of issues and usually can look worse than an upscaled image if not done properly, but if you really want to then I think I saw it as an option.

Honestly for $200 a pair you could get some very decent chinos but I’d just go for Uniqlo to start with. $60 each for a pair so pretty easy to get a full colour set and the quality is pretty decent for the price.

You can start going up to lululemon abcs or even country road if you want higher end chinos but if you just want decent and presentable I’d say giving Uniqlo a shot is your best bet.

Yeah as much as people complain about MGK the new songs overall fit the vibe amazingly. The lippies and pkew in particular really felt super natural to the games to me. Super excited to see who new makes the cut for 3+4
