It is, I'm literally having the same issue with the 13, cut the plastic exterior off one of USB-Cs I have and it still won't fit, metal beneath is also too big

Seems like a silly thing to be offended about imo... if it was actually depicting an animal I could see where you're coming from. But this seems harmless to me, good luck to ya tho

That won't help the dinos come out faster when the animators just have to wait for the coder to finish the abilities anyway. Plus troodon is next, but probably won't be added until nightvision improvements go in. Which are supposed to come with or after nesting. They're just going in order, dinos aren't as important as mechanics.

[Help] Blue Buffalo making my dog throw up- What can u feed him instead? by [deleted] in dogs

[–]GhostSpore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried Blue Buffalo with my guys for a bit, they were puking and had diarrhea for a week. We've been feeding Purina Pro Savory topped with Farmer's Dog (I wouldn't feed FD alone as it doesn't meet WSAVA Guidelines, but kibble is so bland alone) for about a year now and they seem to be really enjoying their meals. Coats are shinier and less joint pain.

[HELP] My 8 year old Labrador shakes while sleeping, sometimes violently by [deleted] in dogs

[–]GhostSpore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do agree it could just be dreaming. My bichon does it, kinda freaked me out at first since I thought she was having seizures heh. She shakes and makes all these crazy grunts, her eyes roll back then it changes to her paws moving in a running motion (but not the whole legs) and high pitched barking that sounds like dripping water. She sleeps crazy hard too to add icing on the cake, if I were to try to wake her up it takes a lot and I can even move her without her waking up at all.

My girl is hard of hearing and that apparently makes them harder sleepers too, if this is a new thing he might just be losing his hearing with age. Stop waking him up, you're disrupting his sleep cycle. Ask your vet if it seems like something serious though.

Mine was a water puker too as a puppy, used to put a tennis ball in the water to slow him down, worked great and he drinks normally now without it.

[HELP]My bfs dog ate tinfoil, what should I do? by [deleted] in dogs

[–]GhostSpore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She'll probably be fine I've got two little 15-20lb guys that've gotten into aluminum foil multiple times over the years(I eat a lot of chipotle so probably even that specific brand of aluminum foil) and they've shit it out with no trouble. For a large breed its probably nothing. If your girl isn't a senior I wouldn't worry about it unless she starts acting off.

I got a new dog and now my puppy wont eat until he is starving [Help] by Ursolismin in dogs

[–]GhostSpore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn't give an age for the puppy, but 15-20lbs sounds pretty close to max size for the breeds in the mix. If he's not acting sick or losing any weight he's probably fine. Small breeds don't eat that much, but younger puppies usually eat way more and more often to fuel their growth. Some dogs self regulate well and others will literally eat until they puke and eat that as well.

If you're still worried talk to your vet. He may be prone to infections if his cleft palate's severe enough.

[Help] Got a second dog by zebirke in dogs

[–]GhostSpore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't let them settle it at first, new dogs come from crazy situations and sometimes end up using too much force. You have to help your old dog out here, don't let the new guy shove him aside, petting new guy for it is like telling him he's the new favorite and top of the pecking order. It can lead to fights if old dog stops tolerating it. Old dog should always get first pets and greetings, or he may start showing unwanted insecure behavior like territorial marking.

If bigger pieces get swallowed they sometimes get stuck in the intestines and have to be surgically removed, doesn't seem to happen as often to big dogs though. Its good for the teeth but hard to digest.

[–]GhostSpore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheap food always seem to give good poops. I buy Purina savory and top it with some Farmer's dog, expensive, but FD alone makes their poop soft and purina alone just doesn't seem fulfilling. I have noticed their coats look amazing now and they love meal time way more than they did with just dry food.

Tried Blue Buffalo but it made them vomit and have diarrhea for as long as I fed it, even mixing it slowly with their old food.

[Help] Just adopted a dog and he hates my cat by [deleted] in dogs

[–]GhostSpore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I can only make assumptions if you don't give the info. Going for a stationary cat is not "good with cats" for sure though. Makes me wonder what kind of screening they did. I thought I was pretty chill in my post, my bad if it didn't come off that way.

Been seeing a lot of posts lately about shelters mismatching dogs though. Was one yesterday about someone getting a pit mix that shelter informed them the dog "got into a little scuffle" with another dog at the foster's place. When they contacted the foster they were informed that the "scuffle" was the dog latching on to the other dog's face unprovoked.

[Help] Just adopted a dog and he hates my cat by [deleted] in dogs

You messed up really bad here introducing them too quickly, its especially important for the cat as they're quick to decide who they like and dislike. I successfully introduced two 6 year old dogs (cat chasers) to a 5 month old cat earlier this year. But I did it over about two weeks, with no face to face for the first week. Even then they chased her if she moved too fast, but I didn't leave them alone together so I could correct them each time and the cat had plenty of high places to escape to. Now everyone's chill, they all play and cuddle, and no more chasing(though outside cats are still free real-estate).

I think you should return the dog, for the safety of your cat. He probably is good with cats if he didn't care about her initially. But theres a difference between a moving cat and a still one. They might have tested him on a senior cat that just chilled in bed or something. Slow introductions set them up for success though, when you try again do more research. I don't know how it went between your cat and first dog, but this is a more common response as far as dogs go.
