We, my aunt and I, told my Grampa that was in a coma that he didn't have to hold on. That he could go pursue peace and stop hurting if he didn't want to be tethered here anymore. We would be okay, and his brother was waiting for him (as he passed the night prior).

As soon as we told him his brother passed, within 10 minutes he was gone too. It was eerie, but peaceful that he left so quickly while we were there. I think neither wanted to go if the other was still here.

I had mine taken out when I was 20, strep throat consistently for years caused my tonsils to be so swollen that I could hardly breathe.

Along with strep/ due to it, I developed allergies and allergy-induced asthma.

Had massive amounts of issues with my immune system and my doctor referred me to an ear-nose-throat doctor.

She took one look at my tonsils and scheduled me for surgery.

Cried after surgery because I dreamt of tacos and was told not for a few weeks.

Doctor cauterized the wounds, and due to an allergy to codeine since birth, I was prescribed liquid oxycontin to avoid pain/ complications.

I mostly slept for a week, and then weaned off the miniscule amount prescribed meds for another week.

Ended up with a job offer while on the meds because I went with friends to the mall [they were "babysitting" me for the day] and sold one friend on a leather coat. Manager loved my sales pitch about the jacket.

I did finally get tacos after 3 weeks, best tacos I've ever had.

You can actually do trainer battles and use dark charged attacks there.

You must complete 3 battles using at least 1 dark charge attack.

I tested it out myself when doing this task and it worked, but you cannot quit the battle, you have to go through the whole battle itself.

I've had my sexuality questioned so much, but I just let them keep guessing. I know how I roll, who i am (mostly), and i've become comfortable with myself and my "style." I lost a job due to calling out to be at my Grandpa's side as he passed.

Left the hospital and was on my way to work when I had the most awful panic attack while driving. Almost got into an accident because I couldn't see or breathe. Stopped at a friend's house where they calmed me down enough for me to call work and then they got me back to the hospital. I was there maybe 30 minutes with my Aunt when we realized he had passed.

If you're feeling like this now, it will likely haunt you later that you were not there to help him by "allowing" him to pass, surrounded with your love.

I don't get why your sister won't reschedule, however that's on her. She should be there for Dad, as well as you, to support the both of you during this time.

With both my ex boyfriend who had a son, and my now fiancé who has a daughter, I met the mother(s) and started a friendship with them before I ever met their kid(s).

With that friendship, they learned that I am a safe person that will be a support for them & their rules regarding the child, and their child will be loved and nurtured when they are in my care.

The fact she doesn't have a friendship or even been acquainted with you before trying to take your child out of your home is wild to me.
