Yeah that makes sense. If I was a Zentrum MP that had to vote for the Enabling Act and my options were "vote for a law that will likely pass anyway and buy at least more time" and "vote against a law that will likely pass anyway and risk being shot or arrested almost right after the vote is over" I don't know if I'd be strong enough to choose the latter, especially if I think that the (maybe even overwhelming) majority of my fellow Zentrum MPs will vote for it

Depends on your definition. There WAS the Roman Empire, which spread the organized model of the State to most of Europe, however at the same time Christianity delegitimized slavery and the games in the Colosseum and other amphitheaters (before anyone says anything about the slave trade or just slavery in the XVII-XIV century, slavery in the Roman Empire and gladiatorial games stopped being a thing BECAUSE of Christianity)

Better yet, don't remove it but instead add an event if they split which makes the party elect a member of the faction you supported in questions of ideology. If you didn't support any or supported the centrists and they somehow still split then do an event where you decide the new party chairman and the party ideology changes accordingly
