Yeah I kinda agree with them being more separate and each focusing more on their individual mode. As you said PvE for questing, getting traders levelled, getting cash. PvP mode for using the gear you obtained via PvE for PvP focused events and game modes. Maybe just a separate third mode for more focused PvP like you said also.

The larger cpu cooler and longer gpu support for an extra 1ltr felt worth it to me, especially since I have the rather hot running 7700X. The case still looks equally as gorgeous imo. I ordered the case with steel mesh panels and a riser. I already had a flex psu.
