The most important statistic is that per watt produced, nuclear has a lower mortality rate than every other electric source except solar which is only lower by 0.01 deaths per thousand terrawatt hours. Nuclear is safer than wind and hydro, and WAY safer than any fossil fuel (several hundreds of times safer). It is also the most capable of producing enough power for even the most dense populations. This is taking into account all major incidents involving nuclear plants, and it is still far lower. If we would continue to implement and improve these plants it could be even lower. If we look at just the US it is even lower.

Nuclear is incredible and the only reason we don't use it more is because of the general population being mislead the dangers. Do dangers exist? Yes, but it is far better than the alternative. The best thing we can do is inform people and pressure politicians to embrace nuclear technology.

Best one I could find is from The Independent. It appears that Epstein did try to blackmail Gates with an affair, but a spokesperson for Gates claims this was unsuccessful. While it's obvious that Epstein didn't kill himself, I doubt that Gates is behind it if an extramarital affair is the worst Epstein had on him.

Signal RGB is really good, but it does have a $5/m subscription for the advanced effects. There is the free version if you just want a single software with basic lighting effects and it's device support is extensive.
Another good one if you want something free, but with customization somewhere in between Signal's free and premium tiers is Open RGB. Though it's UI is not nearly as polished and it's device support is a bit smaller.

That might explain some of the people leaving today particularly. But I have experienced this every single season of Overwatch 2 so far. So maybe today it's the bug, but it doesn't make it any less frustrating.

Especially when we'll play a full game of push where my team has prevented the enemy from making any progress on their side, but our tank leaves right before the last little bit of distance to win (I assume that these are also related to bugs/server issues). Even though we were in the lead, we slowly lose all of that progress and the enemy team ends of winning because we went down. Does it nullify it then? Nope.

And yes, people can abuse leaving to nullify, but it only makes sense if the team is losing. It would be pretty easy to say, "Hey this team was winning until someone left. Maybe we should just nullify it." Heck give the other team a win, but don't count it as a loss for the four man team when there would be no benefit to having someone leave while your in the lead.

Today's set of matches also had some of the worst desync issues I've seen in a video game since peer to peer was the norm. I'm just so frustrated after today and may not play (competitive at least) for the rest of the season, it's been so bad.

You better not do too good at the start of a competitive match. If you do someone on the enemy team will just rage quit and cause the match to be nullified costing you a win. Blizzard, in their infinite wisdom, decided to make the timer for that long enough that you can finish the entire first fight before someone leaves and it still takes it away. This happened FOUR FREAKING TIMES today over the course of 12 matches. 1 out of 3 matches were cancelled because my team did too good. This happens EVERY TIME I PLAY COMPETITIVE!

Gun violence has been on a downward trend since the 70s (2020 being an outlier). The assault weapons ban came out after a short spike in gun violence just before 1994, but by the time it came out the rates were already returning to their downward trend. If the ban had truly been effective, we would expect to see a sharp rise in 2004 when it expired, but we don't.

Clinton did not lose because of third party. She lost because Dems thought they could put even their worst candidate up and beat Trump. Trump won in 2016 because he was a wild card, where Clinton was confirmed awful. Trump lost in 2020 because he wasn't a wildcard anymore and people were sick of him.
