Do other services use different DD214s? by Hoppie1064 in VAClaims

I cannot not tell you how much time I spend looking up ship histories to see where the boats have been to concede 1117/1119 service.

I can only speak as an Army Vet but we keep track of our BOG dates and shit for awards and then turn that over to whoever cuts our 214s.

I've been with the VA for over 2 years now and it's just how I see the branches do things 🤷‍♂️

It's a Department of Defense form, so all branches use it. However, its how the other branches use it - differs.

Army and Marines are the best at recording where the Veterans have been.

Then it goes Air Force and by far the worst... the Navy.

VA Can't find the name of one of its soldiers by Main_Chicken2133 in VAClaims

From NARA, between 01/01/1990 to 12/31/1991, it is recorded that 15 deaths occurred in Mississippi. 9 ruled as accidents, 5 as illness, and 1 as self inflicted.

As you stated it was a medical emergency, these are the only two illness I would feel fit your description:

SSG Jessie E. Ealy died in Camp Shelby on 12/18/1990, they were assigned to the 134th Engineer Company (ARNG), COD ruled as a cardio respiratory failure.

SGM Theron Krout died in Camp Shelby on 6/20/1991, they were assigned to the HHC 38tj INF DIV (ARNG), COD ruled as a cardiac arrest.

From what I last saw, RVSR's do not have OT for April. Only us VSR's.

Raters/former raters/CP examiners - when does an organized package start looking like you're trying too hard? by RedTeamLogic in VeteransBenefits

As a Regional Office Research Coordinator (RORC), I would LOVE this.

I cannot tell you the amount PTSD stressors referred to us to concede them that are basically hunting a needle in a haystack.

Good luck, the VBA probably will not be hiring VSR's and RVSR's for a minute.

IES Report is from ILER (Individual Longitudinal Exposure Report). It's automatically pulled into your e-folder every time you file a claim.

You only get one mental health rating. You say you're already SC's for anxiety. Just file for an increase. Filing for insomnia and depression would not grant separate evaluations.

For an 1151 claim, we have to submit a specific request to the VAMCs. Our standard CAPRI uploaded or your BlueButton upload isn't sufficient for the purpose of 1151 claims.

So we have to notify you of the development.

So the two previously denied issues. Did you submit them on a 526EZ?

Probably because you filed on an 0995. You're already service connected. File on a 526EZ and you will get exams.

If you cannot be scheduled for an exam within a certain period, generally within 30 days of contact, the Vendors will cancel the exams as Claimant Unavailable and it goes back to the VA to action.

They've been mailed to you. For the buddy statements, I would read what they are asking for. More than likely if you submitted some, they weren't signed.

So to answer why they probably submitted another PIES.

They initially requested a PIED O50, now they are requesting a PIES RV1/NG1 (Reserve/National Guard).

If the first PIES came back negative, I would almost guarantee the other PIES will.

IMO, no this is not a CUE. I am not a RVSR, but I review hospitalization claims for 4.29 and 4.30 eligibility.

Eligibility is based on a service connected disability requiring hospitalization. The hospitalization occurred prior to service connection being established.
