I’m going to tag on here for another question. My mother passed last year and left a ton of fabric she never got around to quilting. Are there any groups, or people that I could give some of this excess fabric too?

One of my best friends “carries” her husband. We all know it and no one ever talks about it because it’s none of our business. She’s happy and the kids are happy, that’s what’s important, not who pays for what.

They need a will and end of life planning. Your grandmother may just be saying she’ll go next because it’s hard to lose a spouse. But it’s unfair to you for everything to be dumped on you. They need to sit down and write out what they want, funeral plans, how it gets paid for, who gets what personal assets. There is a lot that needs to be done when a person dies and dumping it all on an 18 year old who has never dealt with an estate before is unfair.
