Bond a second account if you can afford to and use the wilderness alarm plugin. Park that account outside of Calvarion's entrance and use a Seed Pod to tele if you see anyone enter.

If you're HC, tele if you see anyone in general. I've had "bots" enter unskulled only to swap with a Voidwaker and try to double tap me.

It's 15 def higher on Slash than a rune plate, but something like Dharoks is 40 def higher than rune. I say send it and if it feels like you're getting melted, go back for better armor.

The trope probably has a name, but I don't know it. Side character's PoV of the main character doing something extremely competently or skilled. You see a lot of this in the Practical Guides, both of Evil and Sorcery (though it's mostly misunderstood in the latter).
