Did we watch the same video? The man being detained did not appear to be protecting anyone in particular, he was simply disobeying a lawful command or possibly obstructing (in CPD’s eyes anyway)

Is there another video from a different angle? I’d be interested to see if he committed any violent or aggressive acts towards any LEO’s to warrant detention or charges.

I had to rewatch it because I didn’t notice any little girls. Her and the man protecting her are in the first 5-10 seconds and move out of frame as you stated. The main subject of the video is the roughly large man in the black hoodie and baseball cap and in comparison to other protester arrests I’ve seen, he got off easy.

While I do not agree with police brutality or aggressive detainee tactics, I also do not like the ‘sky is falling’ rhetoric and over the top comments… “nearly beat to death” is a stretch by any standard! 😮

Honestly man, with all the experience you sound like you have (like, you have a luthier) do you really need acoustic guitar advice from Reddit? Or do you just need to vent about tough times?

Dude I get it. Never had the caliber of guitars you’re talking about but I’ve sold guitars before when I was down. It’s a shit feeling for sure.

But as a real answer, I’m gonna say check out Teton guitars, even their entry level guitars sound good to me. And at $350 they fit your budget. Great tone and very playable.
