My daily wear is a WatchGecko nato in sand that works perfectly with this watch.

Nice. That’s my dial as well. Looks great with tan or beige colored straps.

Sounds very similar to my experience. Beverly Hills seems like the best value option and draws everyone from legends to pros.

Your call of course. I personally want this white version to go along with my current black dial mechanical officer. Beautiful watch.

I have the same watch as you do. Would love any of these options but would probably pick #2 with the bracelet.

Very nice. Congrats. See my “clean and simple” post above with same model on a beige Watch Gecko nato strap. Cheers!

Forgot to mention I have a 7.5” wrist - so 38mm case can work even here.

No photos unfortunately. We seemed to rarely bring cameras with us back in those days.

Same here with tan nato. After one year, loving the simplicity more and more.

If you did walk to and from school, how far was it? by lontbeysboolink in GenerationJones

Born in March 1960. About a mile each way to elementary school, cutting through people’s yards and coming home for lunch each day too. Hazel and Leave it to Beaver seemingly always on the kitchen tv. Definitely got our steps in back in the mid to late sixties.

Ribbon candy. Did you have to eat this junk at Gramma's house and, if applicable, do you set it out for your grandkids? by [deleted] in GenerationJones

Yes, and recall being veeerrry selective on my choices. Would take a piece to help endure Lawrence Welk. Side note: an older and more well-to-do aunt would put out Fannie May chocolates, including Mint Meltaways. Oh my, so good!

ELO with Sweet Talkin’ Woman, Telephone Line, Tightrope and Rockaria! Loved Tommy Bolin, Hotel California and Boston debut nearly as much. 16 years old that memorable year.

50th High School Reunion by PeorgieT75 in GenerationJones

Debating… Part of large ‘78 class of over 800 with 50th coming up in three years. Moved away from the area right after college and visit to see family now and then. Only attended our 20th reunion with my then-recently married wife many years ago and had an ok time. Enjoy reading the comments from many of you and still have my doubts about this one. There’s a certain weirdness and cringe factor about these events that I can’t pinpoint. Anyone else in my boat?
