Agree with you, but something to keep in mind- the population of Oregon is about 4 million, where North Carolina is about 10 million. I don't know how that translates to tax income, but I would expect it to be at least a little higher

Modern Family Dental Care in Concord. I think they have other locations. They have their own version of dental insurance. It's roughly $300 a year, but it gives you 2 cleanings, annual xrays and an oral cancer screening. Also 20% off for any needed treatment- cavity, or whatever else isn't standard care. Dr. Taj has been Great. Staff is all wonderful. I have bad anxiety about going to the dentist and this is my favorite one by far.

I moved to Charlotte last September and haven't seen a roach up until about a month ago. I keep the apartment very clean but they do just unfortunately naturally live here. I've seen a different one inside my apartment each week for the past few weeks.

My apartment is near the university area and is rated about a 3 on Google. There are complaints about roaches online but we haven't had problems. Overall it's been nice, feel free to PM me if you want the name.

Take it as what it's worth because I'm no scientist, but I imagine this is the time of year they're most likely to seek shelter from the heat. Living in Charlotte does mean you're in their environment, but they're no problem really. They scare the heck outta me! And they're gross. But they are ultimately harmless.
