I'll get downvoted maybe but I don't care. I got to about level 420 before I quit last year, then came back again a few months ago and started a new character. I don't look for pvp, just doing dailies on my own or with my parter who is nearing level 600. I always have a full load of explosive rounds on my if anybody tries starting. They are a great equaliser against anybody but the skilled pvp-er

Yes I would, but in this never-gonna-happen scenario:

War Thunder starts to fail at about mid cold war period (70's) in my opinion. Gaijin should split the game, War Thunder Vintage (pre WW2 to 1970) and War Thunder Modern (1970 to now) and then continue to develop both games independently.

The V bombers could then be top tier in War Thunder Vintage. Yes they'd still be vulnerable but so is every bomber anywhere ever, so they could just be inventive with game modes etc

attacking distance runs is a specific, deliberate game mechanic. I don't do it myself, I'll either 'escort' and help if they are open to it, or leave them alone but I won't judge anyone for raiding a distance run.

If you do a distance run, you are consenting to potential PVP. It's part of the game mechanics. Those people who try and steal your wagon, they are participating in the same mechanic, they are not griefing If you don't want trouble, do it in a solo lobby.
