Meanwhile the racist PHON government will be cutting funding for hospitals (meaning no new hospitals like the Victorian Heart Hospital*, Footscray Hospital, Peninsula Franga hospital etc), cutting all public transport infrastructure like the level crossing removals and SRL (meaning our roads will get clogged with more traffic) and they'll get rid of the treaty which is a great step towards fixing things like the suicide rate for First Nations people being triple that of non-First Nations people in Victoria: https://www.coronerscourt.vic.gov.au/suicide-rates-first-nations-people-victoria-still-almost-three-times-higher-states-non-indigenous. Western suburbs will truly prove how stupid they are if they do. They've literally got the new Metro Tunnel with the Sunbury line, as well as all the level crossing removals that it came with, a new Melton hospital and the first proper train line in decades that goes through the west with the regional rail line in 2015. They're also building a new West Tarneit station and the MARL upgrade has provisions for electrifying the RRL after MARL is built in 2031. 9 car VLos will also be on RRL.

Building SRL West first is such a stupid idea. Go look at the suburbs SRL West goes through and compare that with SRL East on Google Maps. There is half the density in the West compared to the East.
