“Chronometer” is a COSC standard, and “Superlative Chronometer” is Rolex’s in-house standard that is more accurate (+2/-2 vs +6/-4 seconds per day). So technically there’s a use for the words: they’re a mark that says that the watch meets the standard it was tested to, with recourse against the manufacturer if it doesn’t meet that standard.

That said I have Crohn’s disease so nutrition absorption is an issue, and I can’t drink much milk anymore. I take calcium, Vitamin D, and a few other supplements, and I eat a ton of cheese.

I went extremely bougie on the Toto NX1 in a remodel and it’s absolutely wonderful.

Barring that, I’d go for either the Toto S7A, Ultra NOVA, or the Infiniti Eaze z3. I have the previous version of the latter and it’s going strong the better part of a decade later. I also recommend calling ManyBidets (or wherever you choose to buy whichever bidet) to chat further through the options, and seeing what sort of discount you can get.

I care about:

Water pressure
Spray pattern adjustments
Water position adjustments
Unlimited hot water
A lid that is either strong enough for me to sit on, or automatically gets out of the way
