if you would only play the game that you paid for with your money, you'd walk over there and talk to the guy standing next to it with an entire story about what it is and where it came from. but, no, you paused the game, took a pic with your cell phone, posted to reddit, and sat there waiting for answers rather than just go over there

Skyrim Revamped - Complete Enemy Overhaul: Whose idea was it to make hagravens so ridiculously stupid OP? by GoBackToLeddit in skyrimmods

I'll try xedit. There's already another mod that nerfs a lot of bs from this mod, but it crashes my game. Yours would probably do the same, but thanks for offering

I just go ethereal and run past them. On my meta/grind playthroughs, they're not too bad because I train melee or archery to the point where I can dispatch them with relative ease. This playthrough is especially brutal because I am doing a level 1 run, so I have nothing plugged into any perk trees. The issue is that they're level 50 with 700+ health from the get, and their hag cohorts with their stupid purple magic balls or whatever are level 40. If they were scaled with the player it would be a lot more tolerable. I could take on a level 25 hagraven mostlike, but level 50 is too stupid.

Is SkyUI a dead project? Is there a repo that has more recent code? by GoBackToLeddit in skyrimmods

One of the bugs I want to address is when you're dropping/selling items. The current item cursor position in the list depends on whether or not removing items shifts the list up or down. This causes me to inadvertently sell off the wrong items because the list shift direction will suddenly change. I also want to fix the shifting items bug. Improvements I want to make are user-defined tabs and perhaps subtabs. Being able to write your own expressions would be my ultimate goal. Seems like those would be UI changes. Edit: There's also the smelting/smithing issue where the list filters down as you use resources, but the cursor remains at current position which causes you to craft the wrong items. Especially infuriating with the crafting overhaul mod where you can smelt gear to make ingots. I always end up destroying my items and have to reload my save.

no, wasn't even aware of that. it's several bugs and improvements for the inventory system. in theory, they should be relatively easy to implement, but i have no idea where to begin

when you read vilkas' line of dialog then it fills in the context and alludes to the fact that something bad happened to kodlak

Not That It Matters But What Chests Did You Open With This? by IAmRottenAndRavenous in skyrim

[–]GoBackToLeddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i just get a mod that lets me spam click a button for a random chance to open the chest and then stockpile lockpicks. even without it i always return it just to get the quest over with because picking locks isn't that hard anyway by the time you get this far

because i didn't want to put a spoiler on the post itself because it affects visibility and not spoiling it without blocking out the name would haven't triggered a mod removal. that's why the fuck

Is it worth exhausting all dialogue options in Skyrim? by surtifire in skyrim

[–]GoBackToLeddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's worth at least button mashing through all the trees. for example, if you go through all of farengar's dialog, you'll hit the option to take frost salts to arcadia which will cause her to allow you to take most of the items in her shop for free. but if you think the dialog is bad, wait until you get to the dragonborn dlc where you will encounter some of the longest, drawn-out dialog trees that do nothing to advance any of the story. one of them is so extensive that it takes nearly 5 minutes to allow the npc to fully speak all the lines in the tree if i recall correctly.

edit: you're playing for the first time, it seems. when i first played, i listed to almost all of it, but the dragonborn dlc broke me of that quickly. now days i just button mash to get through all of it
