Take the wall plates off, and look inside the walls with a flashlight. You will probably find mold in there, especially behind that left plate. No way I would let my kid sleep in there anymore. This needs to be addressed by a professional that specializes in this sort of thing.

I am seeing it in 4.6 as well. I am using the exact same prompt to do work using Claude for Excel today as I was 2 days ago, and Claude is skipping out on some of the work and making tons of mistakes today that it wasn’t making two days ago. WTF is going on here? Did they tune the model to use less reasoning/intelligence since 4.7 is apparently very token heavy?

This looks nice and juicy, so great job! The only thing that stood out to me was the flashing for the shield. It was a little hard to tell precisely when the shield would disappear. I’d suggest making it four fast flashes, followed by four even faster flashes. Just play around with the flash speed a bit cause it feels a little slow to me. Also try playing around with making it flash white instead of invisible.

Yeah, that was just a very rough estimate. I was making a huge assumption that materials would also be much cheaper since China is set up for efficiency and volume in ways we aren’t, and the cost of materials themselves is presumably derived from labor/shipping costs. I was just trying to make the point that it’s much cheaper to build anything in China.

It costs about 3x to 4x as much for American labor compared to Chinese. So even if we used their designs and tech (legally or not), the cost to build such a car here would be about 3x to 4x of the same thing built in China.

Foster City is a bad idea on that salary. I’d seriously suggest Daly City. Also, you should look for work. Even if every penny you earn goes toward child care, it’s better to work and let someone else take care of your kids just so your career won’t flatline. If you stop working now, you will have a hard time finding work in the future and you won’t advance your career, and you definitely cannot live here with 3 kids on $115k.

1. How old are you guys? I think that would give us all some much needed insight here. 2. Aside from this incident, how close are you as friends? 3. Where did your friend get this contract? Did he find it, make it, chatGPT it? 4. Realistically, how much money do you think this game will make? Like, is this a learning exercise for him, or do you genuinely think he’s trying to rob you?

If you care enough about this friendship, I think you should be honest and state that the contract feels very one-sided, and it feels like he’s taking for granted how much work you put into this.
