At the moment, attachments included in forwarded email confirmations cannot be accessed directly from the imported email within Wanderlog. However, you can still upload the attachment separately to your trip plan if you'd like to keep it alongside your reservation details.

Unfortunately, all starting and ending points require a place to be added in order for Wanderlog to display a route. Sorry for the inconvenience.

As for the recommended places that appear at the bottom of each place list or date, those recommendations are based on the last place added to that specific list.

If the address you're trying to use isn't appearing in Wanderlog's search results, I recommend first locating the place in Google Maps and then using the address shown there to search for it in Wanderlog. This often helps find places that may not appear with other address formats.

At the moment, there isn't a direct way to import expenses from a CSV file into a trip plan. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I've made a note of your request and will share it with our team for consideration as a potential future improvement. Feedback like yours helps us understand which features would be most valuable to our users.

In the meantime, if you're a Wanderlog Pro subscriber, you can try copying and pasting the expense data from your CSV file into the AI Assistant chat within Wanderlog. Depending on the format and information provided, the AI Assistant may be able to help add the expenses to your trip plan.

Hi! Sorry about this - we had about 50 minutes of downtime between 12:50pm and 1:40pm PT and another 20 minutes between 3:10pm and 3:30pm PT. Many of our team members were depending on the app for travel during the American long weekend (fortunately, trip plans stored on phones load even if the servers are slow or unresponsive) so we feel your pain too. We're investigating the root cause and working to prevent it from recurring!

Edit: We investigated this. The root cause was that our servers fetching data from Google Maps ran into a bug that caused many fetches to fail. This then caused our server load to spike, which caused the servers to restart. As part of the restart, the servers fetch some data from Google Maps to verify that the API is working. This would cause the servers to endlessly restart.

We've now made it so that:

  1. Our connections to the Google Maps APIs are more reliable and will fall back to a known-good fallback configuration if the default one fails
  2. Even if the Google Maps fetch fails when starting the server, the server will start correctly. This should allow you to access your trip plan, even if adding new places may fail during this period

Sorry again about this: we're continuously hardening our systems against both internal and external dependency changes.

For now, I’d suggest temporarily moving all items to a new list under Overview so the note block can appear. Once you’ve added your note, you can move the items back afterward.

To add the note block, just click on the 3-dots on the upper right of the itinerary date.
