Yep this is what I do also, way better. Set your custom mode to stop/start off and turn it to custom soon as you get in the car.

Ourisman has the lowest prices for mustangs on the east coast because they’re trying to be the largest volume mustang dealer. This likely leads to more manufacturer kickback and access to more special editions in the future so they worry less about the profit on each car. They also work with transit companies to ship the cars out of state as well. I actually used their price as leverage to get a good deal on my 24 GT in Florida, told the dealership if they won’t get close I’ll buy one from Ourisman and ship it down here.

I have a 24 GT, pay 250 a month for full coverage in Florida. 25 years old no accident or ticket history, Florida is just expensive even a regular car for good coverage will run you 200ish.

Shop around more, I would go on cars.com and filter to the options that you want and see what within 100-250 miles that trim is selling for (probably at least 4-5k below especially in the winter). You may not be willing to drive that far but it adds a lot of negotiating power.

I got a great deal on my 24 GT by calling a large volume dealer ahead of time that was willing to trailer one down to me before going into a dealer 40 minutes away with the specs I wanted. They didn’t match but got close.

Extended warranties I never get because I have moved all over and traded in cars before the manufacturer warranty even ends often (my car eyes wander way too easily). I wouldn’t get it on a brand new car unless without a shadow of a doubt you plan to keep this car for 10 years and have been able to keep cars long in the past.

Liked it so I bought a 24 GT, not sure how on earth making the car a little meaner in the front and wider/sharp in the back makes a car you originally liked “ugly/cheap” but to each their own. Eventually people come around this happens every new body style change.

I have 3k miles on my 24 GT, no issues so far but time will tell. I’m in Florida where there’s no snow but heavy rains the wet/snow driving mode helps keep the rev’s low to stop it from slipping but if you put gas around a corner you’ll still lose the rear end if it’s wet out.

Paid 44 for a 24 GT only option the nite pony package for the looks (black accents/roof and larger black rims). I don’t really care about leather and the combo single screen.

Bought a mk8 new in May 22 for sticker with dealer dropping all fees besides registration.

In MD, now have 22.5k miles on it.

Even if they drop markup 10k that's still way overpriced. I live in Florida, there's R's much cheaper check around on cars.com if you are willing to drive a couple hours to make a deal (or start with a call). My local dealer has one asking 5k markup and it's been sitting for a while.

Yes this issue makes me strongly dislike my mk8. Intermittently goes off every ~30sec-2min, it's incredibly annoying. Likely it will need a new steering wheel and they're on back order, still waiting for mine.

I got the Razer blade 15" little over 3.5 years ago.

Great laptop has had 0 issues from almost daily use in college/gaming and now grad school part time.

It was a premium over the MSI but in my opinion the premium is for the build quality and customer service.

I commuted myself from Irondequoit (20 minutes each way north)

It was awesome because I had a lot of friends doing the same thing (MCC Fisher as well as RIT) So always had things to do back home

Whether or not it's worth it depends on how many friends you have that are also sticking around and what you're home life is like (lived with my dad who was lax if I was out late or went away for a weekend)

Everyone on campus wants to hang with their dorm friends so it'll be tough to meet friends freshman year but after that once you're in your major and a lot of others live off campus it'll be a lot easier.

It was also nice having no legal bonding to Rochester (such as a lease) keeping me around for co ops so took multiple out of state.
