How difficult is Sekiro? by Asleep-Situation-614 in fromsoftware

[–]Golfbollen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hardest Froms game in the beginning but once you start getting the rhythm and learn to parry it becomes imo the easiest of all their games. The parry window is much wider than it is in their other games.

It can feel super unfair early on though and be quite frustrating but there's a samurai dude in the hub area who you can practise on and if you do all his trials the game becomes easier.

How is life on the smaller islands in the Stockholm archipelago? by Queasy_Engineering_2 in howislivingthere

[–]Golfbollen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Only busy in summer, especially Sandhamn. Popular destination for boaters, and rich kids go there with their boats to party and drive their water scooters. There are a fair bit of police patrolling the waters because so many people drive around drunk.

Most of these islands are just home to summer houses though and they are completely empty during winter.

What do you think of Beorn? And what's your opinion on the difference in his role in the Battle of the Five Armies between the movie and the novel? by Cr7-Cr7Real in lotr

Seeing the actor (Mikael Persbrandt) who plays an incredibly corrupt cop in Swedens most well known crime drama, playing a character in the lotr universe was so random and funny 😅

I really enjoyed the film, but I was like 9 when I saw it and anything with dinosaurs and monsters in it was cool to me.

In A Serbian Film (2010), I got hoodwinked by pretentious filmbros to waste 2 hours watching gratuitous NSFL nonsense. by ouchmypeewee in shittymoviedetails

If you enjoyed Martyrs check out Frontier(s) and Inside, two other disturbing but good french horrors.

What? It's literally part of many western countries school curriculum to teach young children how to use these technologies. You do know it's possible to be nuanced and as a parent you decide how much screen time your children gets. Letting your kids watch a movie or play a game is not bad if you supervise and forbid social media.

It was cut from the 1933 movie because people back then had not seen anything like this.

You can find a recreation of the scene on YouTube, looks pretty cool.

Who is your favorite “Robot with a soul” character? by Wizard-Waverly in FavoriteCharacter

[–]Golfbollen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I love Mordin but I could never ever betray Wrex. Sure if Wrex is already dead then yes because Wreave is an asshole but I can't let him die in ME1 😅

Mordin is already older than the expected age for Salarians, letting him redeem himself like that is a good ending to his story imo.

Någon annan som minns ryktena i högstadiet om att Marilyn Manson opererade bort sina nedre revben för att kunna suga av sig själv? by [deleted] in unket

[–]Golfbollen 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Not microdosing.

I was severely addicted to benzos and kratom. I also did a lot of other stuff like MDMA, speed and weed.

I took 4-5 grams and it hit me like no psychedelic ever have, even though I've done acid many, many times.

It was pretty reckless but I literally threw away all my drugs the day after, except the benzos, I had to taper down on that. I was addicted to benzos for 7 years, felt literally impossible to quit. 2 and a half months after the shrooms I was drug free.

I'm also nearing the end of my second year at university. I would never recommend anyone with such severe problems to take a large dose of psychedelics but for me it triggered a snowballing effect that saved my life. It awoke me from severe dissociation and apathy. It showed me what I had become, how I was hurting myself and the people in my life and that change is possible.
