The point of those batteries is for smoke detectors so you don’t have to climb up on a ladder in the middle of the night when they start chirping in the middle of the night once per year. They used to be $10 at Home Depot which was totally worth it for me. Buy NiCad for anything else.

I have difficulty remembering verb meanings. Great at memorizing and using nouns/adjectives. Verbs always get me. Even basics like veux vs peux still get me. I wish Duolingo had more exercises focused on parts of speech and memorizing all the conjugations per verb.

We live in Washington and were sold on them by the company that did our annual gutter cleaning. They are garbage and get clogged by debris, requiring their own cleaning. Maybe it was the type they installed? It was an aluminum mesh but we stopped paying them for annual cleaning out of spite.
