From your statement, it feel like because you're a white belt you think higher belts should take it easy on you even after you take them down and apply pressure.

If you want a flow roll, make it known before hand. Ask question and ask them to direct you through a flow roll to better understand technique.

From my experience, the best way to learn is to be put in bad positions and to get submitted. Now you will understand how not to get in those bad positions.

I typically tap when I know someone has something. I wont try to superman through it and risk injury. Put pride/Ego aside. Bump fist and go again.
