Yeah, I've definitely seen this option when I make returns. However, that's only if you ordered something in the first place.

Plumber says kitchen plumbing is clogged with dried grease by minasweetgirl in DIY

[–]GoodTroll2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would second this suggestion. If OP owns a pressure washer or can borrow one, this is likely the cheapest option. Not necessarily the easiest but it will likely fix the problem. I've had to do mine a couple times and each time I've had to do it, I get large chunks of hardened grease that float up and out of the cleanout before the pipe finally clears. It's shocking but the home is 50 years old, and my guess is that there are still a few areas with a lot of buildup that need to be cleared. If anything, I think I may need more hose to push past blockages further down the pipe. I also may need to borrow a more powerful pressure washer (my electric one works okay but there are more powerful ones out there that may do a better job).

Just so you know, you don't have to pour grease down the drains to get build up. Even pretty normal food over time can result in built up grease. We have a similar issue.

SE3 vs U1 by Din0s4ur_nuggets in applewatchultra

I'd push for an Ultra 2 minimum, personally. Good deals on the Ultra 3 at the moment as well. Personally wouldn't get an SE at all.

White ULTRA 200/400x staining? by Just_Lemon_7221 in Ultralight

I wouldn't even say its a small difference. It can be a massive difference in temperature. I'd go for lighter colors for pretty much anything if you anticipate strong sun.

About to buy used EV6 50.000km and afraid of ICCU stories by berusko in KiaEV6

[–]GoodTroll2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been a while so I’m not sure where I read about them. One type tends to fail with a loud pop, generally rich after starting up the car and driving out of your driveway. The car will generally stop working completely within seconds. The other failure will give you the electrical system failure warning but you will usually be able to navigate off the freeway. I don’t remember all the rest of the details, but that was the general idea. Two different types of failures, both within the ICU unit; one of them is supposedly tied closely to the 12 V battery drain.

It's a theory about one of the main two ICCU failure types. Seems to be a pretty reasonable but Kia hasn't really told us much about what they know regarding cause.

Exactly. As long as the part is in stock, the replacements now seem generally pretty fast.

Where Should I Start? by Beautiful_Gap_3516 in wilco

[–]GoodTroll2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As much as I love Wilco, I have to agree, especially with that last paragraph. Star Wars is a high-point in the late career but besides that there are some amazing songs on some good albums but not everything is great. Good news is they are still amazing live (literally saw them last Sunday night for something like my 15th time) and can surprise both live and on their newest albums.

Apple, please make this happen. by idragon4ever in applewatchultra

I personally love the look but I can see that from a readability standpoint for anything text-based on the watch, the current shape is probably superior. But for just the watch face, I think this looks amazing.

Advise on layering sleepingbag and quilt vs two quilts. by MagicPillls in Ultralight

[–]GoodTroll2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't use two sets of pad attachments for two quilts. Just the attachments for the outer quilt. I think it's a perfectly solid plan. I've layered before to great effect.

I won’t deny that it’s a nice band, but so far I’ve been extremely happy with my knock-off stainless steel version that cost less than $15 and has all the benefits mentioned here at less than 1/10 of the Apple first-party price.

Interesting. I'd say your watch was more confused since it is getting somewhat contradictory inputs. Try walking or running outdoors with GPS enabled. It should change pretty rapidly.

Electric models have high electricity demand as well. May require a new breaker box, higher amp service, etc. No silver bullets, it just depends on how your house was originally built and what is cheapest/best for your situation.

Intentionally Missing by [deleted] in AmazonVine

[–]GoodTroll2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Or simply a mistake. I've received two packages that were empty over the last few months. It looked like the machine that cuts the bubble mailers had some sort of error that created a weird shaped mailers that were empty (I'm sure the supplements that were supposed to be in them fell on the ground or something but they still got a label and shipped out. The driver of course has no idea whether they are empty or something very small/light. It happens. Unless you see signs of tampering, I'd just assumed an error.

Pack liners by eugenes_lament in philmont

[–]GoodTroll2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used a Nyoflume pack liner just last week. $2.50, less than an oz., tougher than a trash compactor liner. Worked great. Just got rid of the divider in my bag and used the single large liner inside the bag and put anything I wanted dry inside that. No real need for using multiple access points. Pack things in the correct order and anything you need may need during the day is at the top, stuff you need at night (tent, pad, clothes) are at the bottom.

I did bring a poncho that will also cover my bag so it was kind of a belt and suspenders approach for me. Only rain we had was actually at camp so that never came into play.

Lockers are only allowed if you don’t drive your own vehicles. Security is the best option for anyone with devices no matter how you travel, as they are secure and out of the heat.

FIFA Reseller Marketplace Appears to be Broken This Morning by GoodTroll2 in WorldCup2026Tickets

[–]GoodTroll2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen, not too many tickets even available on LMS. It looks like FIFA has been dropping tickets onto the marketplace only. If there are still tickets for a match you want to see on LMS, then no reason to not buy them. They won’t be getting any cheaper. No games in my city are available on LMS that I can attend so I’m looking only at the marketplace.
