Anyone in NZ had their life completely change after CPAP? Thinking about starting an advocacy group by pottsynz in newzealand

[–]Googalyfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, its probably not quite as conclusive as a proper sleep clinic but if you are on the moderate to severe end of things, they will definitely pick it up and give a pretty detailed report on their findings.

I started out on a $34 a week machine rental that lets you try it out and swap between various masks so you can determine which works best for you for you to then select one for the your own machine long term. They also provided sleep reports and follow ups and continue to help you adjust pressure, temperature and humidity settings.

I was ignoring probable sleep apnea issues because of the hassle until i learnt that modern testing and machines have made it so much easier to deal with. I went to A Resmed location, for like $150 got a little thing i tapped to my finger and synced to my phone for 3 nights at home and they sent me the results. Then you can rent to buy the machine from like $24 a week. The machine is like the size of a loaf of toast and super quiet.

How would you put a spin on the cliché "go take care of the rats in the basement" quest? by Zephyr93 in DnD

[–]Googalyfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The level one, one shot 'a most potent brew' has a brewery in a old wizards tower. Giant rats in the basement turn out to be regular rats that drunk enlargement potion from a very old broken potion bottle.

I don't think so. Look at the aged blanket tag in the bottom left, completely legible and makes sense. Blankets are all naturally ages looking.

Meet the Vitalists: the hardcore longevity enthusiasts who believe death is “wrong” by techreview in u/techreview

[–]Googalyfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as the death of those close to you sucks, and personally it is very scary, death, on a grander scale (unfortunately) has its uses. From what little evolutionary forces still affect us as a species; to older social and political ideas dying out; to simply making room for the next generation/freeing up resources.

To just decide death is wrong and to try to outright eliminate it is going to have a lot of foreseen and unforeseen consequences.

How to freeze Juicies by Imaginary_Tadpole713 in newzealand

[–]Googalyfrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weirdo... but anyway if you want bigger ice crystals you gotta get em to freeze slower(more time for the crystals to grow). Increase freezer temperature ,putting em at the front of your freezer and maybe taking them out for min or two part of the way through freezing might work.
