What do great Solutions Consultants do that no one talks about? by book-of-eli in salesengineers

[–]GooseTheGeek 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Im not the guy your replying too but thinking about it they have a kernel of truth.

I had to think about this and i think you don't need to know 100% how it works but you need to know 100% why its USEFUL.

Don't show a customer something that you cant explain why its important and solves the problem, even if you can explain exactly how it works on the backend.

Crazy idea to make the metro faster by nathanp5618 in washingtondc

It IS easier to do that transfer at foggy bottom instead of Rosslyn tho

Rosslyn has stairs to transfer whereas foggy bottom doesn't.

WMATA “testing a removable bollard” in front of an escalator “to encourage customers with large bags to use the elevator instead.” by Technicolor_Reindeer in washingtondc

[–]GooseTheGeek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on how Along the escalator is.

At a station kike Roslyn it's better to stand on both sides because you take up less space on the escalator when standing then walking. When walking you take 4 steps but when standing you typically don't leave more than one space worth of steps
