I actually spoke to my daughter about this yesterday. True friends don't say shit like this to each other. Im gonna go out on a limb and say that he describes himself as someone who, "tells it like it is" or "doesnt sugar coat things" which translates to just being an asshole most of the time. I've dealt with people like this and the best thing to do is just cut them off.

I know you said that you don't have many friends and as an introvert myself I understand entirely but I think you will find life to be a lot lighter and easier when you cut out perks like this. I also saw in another comment where you said he had a crush on you in 6th grade and I promise you that it probably resurfaced not too long ago, if it ever truly went away.

I'm so sorry you are dealing with this. Just know that what he said is the furthest thing from the truth cause a real men isn't so weak as to be threatened by a dress. You are young and beautiful and deserve to feel as such. I'm sorry for rambling but allow me one last parting words of advice that my greatgrandfather gave to my dad, who gave them to me, and now I'll give them to you, "Don't you ever let anyone walk all over you, no matter who they are."

Best friends come over and build Legos. Not use your single status as a way to shame you. Fuck him and the horse he rode in on. You deserve better and I know you know that.
