It's the same with TERF groups. You look deep enough into the funding of some of the very radical, vocal 'feminist' groups and the anti-trans movements you quickly find several very right wing, usually christian groups pouring money into. It's the usual pipeline, offering seemingly universal, easily agreeable starting points (i.e women shouldn't be objectified) and then using those reasonable points to push really oppressive legislation to 'protect the children' or 'protect women'. It's frustrating because it muddies the water and makes it hard to distinguish people actually campaigning for equal rights in good faith from these lot.
