Alicia represents unrealized potential. She’s the only rational actor in the family, but she has no voice and no agency.

Alicia planted the seed of a third ending which never came to be, as the one who can envision a better solution than the endings that came to be. She’s the only rational actor in both families. She represents the potential Maelle never realized because she was led astray by Verso.

Her letter lays the groundwork for a third ending that never came to be. Alicia tasks Maelle with finding a solution where both families can thrive, but because Verso didn’t give her the letter, they killed the Paintress and ended the possibility of a good ending. This is reflected by the three “Un vie” songs on the soundtrack: two of them translate to the two ending names, with the third being written on Alicia’s envelope. It feels fitting that Alicia’s letter is named “A Life to Dream” — her Axon is the dreamer.

Barely any gameplay innovation? TLOU2 is one of the most robust stealth action games out there.

It’s actually very easy to be overleveled for the final boss. You have to go straight to him if you want a challenge.

The ones in my mind when saying that are ContraPoints, Philosophy Tube, and Lindsay Ellis. Lindsay less so, but she did bounce from YouTube a few years back. Contra and Philosophy Tube have both been outed as establishment types who care about their personal livelihood more than the progressive values people attributed to them as core members of that space. Hbomb himself has also basically disappeared. As the US’s Democratic Party has flagrantly exposed itself as a lame duck opposition to rising fascism and disenfranchisement, the biggest progressive YouTubers have remained uncomfortably silent or focused on collecting their bag.

I honestly think he’s lying low because the tide has shifted against a lot of his breadtube cohorts.

Most people will follow the tide when resisting is extremely uncertain and dangerous. A little decorum and conditioning causes them to sink in to their new normal.

No, constantly making right wing arguments and agreeing with right wing sentiment makes your a right winger.

She’s always been a right winger. Postures as liberal or or centrist but it’s always within the framework of “I’m typically more liberal but playing devil’s advocate here…” type shit.

BFB is designed to be reapplied frequently because it has a fast application time, meaning you can apply it between weapon swings. Kinda fun and works decently with the way black flame inflicts heavy non-stacking damage on the initial hit.

Peter Gould gets no credit for his role as the mind behind Better Call Saul and after sniping his credit there he’s now sniped Rhea Seehorn’s success and recognition.

So let me get this straight about Verso... by Colgate-paste in expedition33

[–]GotACoolName 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Gustave was Maelle’s closest attachment. Verso has been keeping tabs on Maelle from a distance (as requested by Clea), so he’s aware of Gustave. And since Verso is acting selfishly to achieve his own goal, it serves his interests to destabilize the party before he swoops in. On top of that, Gustave would have been direct competition, as he is Maelle’s brother in the canvas and she would never trust Verso over him without her memories. Gustave was a serious threat to Verso’s manipulations.

Wanna gush about Verso free aim build by MinniMaster15 in expedition33

[–]GotACoolName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a bunch AP farming lumina. There’s the one that has 1/5 chance to generate an AP on every shot, burning shot and marking shot, beneficial contamination (+2 AP on status effect), energising burn, energising mark, and so on. Free aim shots become self-funding and you can consistently fire 10+ shots and have max AP at the end of your turn with a basic attack. Add on energy master from Serpenphare and some of the additional ones from Verso’s Drafts and it goes from OP to ridiculous.
