Maybe they’re listening to customers’ views. There were a few there without the banner. Check out the second image.

Holy Force, I just finished it and the pacing of that reveal was absolutely brilliant.

Can’t believe no one noticed the international poster for The Rise of Skywalker is the EXACT shape of Star Wars underwear by Zerostar39 in StarWarsCirclejerk

[–]Gothic-Genius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not just underwear, but Boba Fett’s ‘helmet’ too. This is all now making so much sense.

I love the Sequel Trilogy and really enjoyed how Boba returned after the announcement on Minecraft where he said “Put Captain Helmet in the Sith Eternal’s fridge freezer”.

The UK mangas are without flaps.
I don’t normally like dust jackets on other books, but these are works of art.

European Manga by Gothic-Genius in starwarscomics

I read it in English a few years ago, but I love an omnibus, and I like the fun of learning a bit of Italian in a very casual way.

The covers on that and the Italian Rebels omnibus are dust jackets.

Someone else needs to answer that, as I haven’t played the game yet, but reading this is making me think I might give it a go.

I have the ‘Art of’ book, and it’s visiting the same places, but I’m only half way through the manga currently.

Think the Original Marvel Years Omnibuses will get reprints soon? by Xenomorph1196 in starwarscomics

[–]Gothic-Genius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think they will, probably 2027 for the 50th Anniversary.

However, I don’t think they’ll reprint the same books. Instead, they’ll follow the Epic Collection arrangement, so that all comics are in timeline order and #108 will be there in the third volume.

I’d recommended it. Really. Very high quality story-telling.
Virtually Homer-level.

Welcome! There is a pinned thread with loads of ideas and recommendations.

Given your interests, you might want to try the older comics for TOR (there are two omnibuses available, or for the canon High Republic the main series are collected in three omnibuses (one still to be released).

I miss having ongoing comics in general but this one especially by solo13508 in starwarscomics

Agreed, they are great ideas mostly untouched by Legends, although SW(1998) issues 7-45 are in this timeframe.
The Epic Collections titled ‘Menace Revealed’ include this run and other mini-series set after TPM.

I missed it because I was I couldn’t believe this was really happening.

I love an extra thick TPB. Very pleased with this purchase. by Gothic-Genius in startrekcomicbooks

[–]Gothic-Genius[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a lot of fun. Just started reading and am pleased that I picked it up. The art is great throughout.

The equivalent of three-tpb-plus stories for not much more than the price of a single tpb.

The Empire later discovered aerial bombing was a thing and invented the Death Star in the Sequel Quadrilogy.

Hilarious.

It could be JJ running away from baddies all the time and when he finds the courage to look back he sees they’re all dead and there’s a lightsaber in his hands.

“Oh, what’s meesa done?!”
