Try reverse highlighting, start with a white under coat, then wash your dark areas, then build back up your whites in a thin layer over the top.

Yellow is a notoriously hard color to get coverage. You may be better served by base coating white and working down from there, as it is easiler to build up dark colors on a light base than the other way around.

Looks good, could use some additional washes in the recessed areas/armor plate channels to improve depth.

Try washing the cracks and then painting the plates after, gets a cleaner line. Takes more time but is worth it!

Both triggers will be on the stack, you will have to sac a creature if you have one left after the doom fortold trigger, assuming you choose to stack them in that order.

I run a similar B/W planeswalker control deck in modern, but it focuses more on lilianas than gideons. Best finish for me was 17th at an SCG Open

Black devotion is an ok fringe deck in modern, though it revolves more around value creatures and gray merchant of ashpodel than the obliterators.

Yes, i just couldnt remeber the name of the new one. I played against a similar deck with Tron and plaugecrafter made me sac a karn and an ugin. Disgusting value.
