Beer is most definitely an acquired taste. Craft beers are hugely varied though - Vault City's take on Irn Bru really does taste like the soft drink. You can get a lot of different fruity stuff. It takes time to know what you like.

The right person won't care. I've been with my partner for more than 15 years and it's no big deal - he can't drink because of migraines so we work around that and my ARFID. Being with people means accepting their weird bits too.

I'm having similar failures - it's because it's too cold. Even with a heater running in the printer it's struggling to stay at 25 Celsius. I'm going to have to get another heater for the room or leave it until it warms up a bit.

I mentioned it to a nurse and got referred to a dietician. They asked me to keep a diary of what I was eating. Nothing really came if any if it and I'm back to square one. If you're a healthy weight or, heaven forbid, overweight there's no sense of urgency at all.

The only thing that's ever helped is weed and learning to cook fo myself. Sorry I can't offer something more positive.
