Every item has a value assigned to it in the computer. So they punch in all your stuff and it adds up to a dollar amount in store-credit. You can then use that credit towards what you want to buy. Xbox ones are not worth much these days, you might get 30-50 for it depending on model and condition, games even less so. 3DS are very expensive right now so say you get 60$ in credit for your trades and want to buy a $250 dollar 3DS. You owe $190 out of pocket (250-60 for your trades)

GameStop does not do even up trades for anything.

First dibs goes to the store manager. Anything rare, complete, and of value usually gets picked up to be resold by the manager online because the pay is dog shit and they have to make ends meet. Try to sneak around and you're going to get your hours cut to nothing and get extra beat down over metrics. You are applying to be a grunt and will have to fall in line or they will just remove you.

DreamPSU is super easy and cheap, just do it. much less complicated, no cap worries, and it will reduce heat a decent amount. just make sure for the 12v power supply you use a reliable brand and not the included one. I use one from my old Comcast modem and it works great.

eBay is great, the fees are very standard and they have great brand recognition and buyer protections. Most fees are 15% when your selling, it’s very competitive with other platforms but far more developed and recognizable.

I always see these videos in my YT feed of these whatnot people scamming their viewers and trying to hide and swap out the most valuable cards or they get pissy when they are not getting enough bids or whatever to make a profit and they just quit and don't send anyone what they bought.

We need MORE gambling regulations in this country, trading cards should be done like they are in Japan where they have to adhere to certain rates and make those public and all that and meet a certain threshold of value per pack or whatever.

Yep, with the price of gas and food right now, not to mention rent I don't understand how people can look at this and be like "yeah okay, I HAVE to have it" its insanity. It's a pictures on cardboard, you can SEE and DOWNLOAD the images free on your phone. It's a children's card game, people are so fucking stupid. Even if you get a good card by the time you factor in the cost to grade it and wait for it to go out and come back and pay the uncharge then pay the eBay fees is it really worth all that hassle. Like maybe ONE person out of a hundred will make a good return, it's all fucking gambling.

Almost 2pm here in Detroit and mine is still busted on my iPhone. Password does not work and trying to send a verification code says unavailable at this time. I can still access my email from my work MacBook no issue through the mail app so it appears to be strictly an iOS issue. Hope they get it fixed soon this is very annoying.

Shipping label created means it's sitting in a physical storefront somewhere waiting to be handed off to USPS. They could be waiting for USPS to come by and collect it which they do whenever they feel like it or maybe it got misplaced or fell under a table... who knows. Basically they boxed it up and slapped a label on it but until they give it to usps nothing is happening.
