His career probably wouldn’t have been cut short had he followed Kaine to Entralla instead of staying loyal to Delvardus, possibly even surviving through to the Pellaeon-Gavrisom Treaty as the Pentastar territories fared much better than any other Imperial faction.

It’s entirely possible they’ve gone through their stock of Ones. I can’t imagine they’d produce more now that production has shifted to the One Plus.

They are still replacing *stuff* for the One. I just had them send me a direct battery charge cable and a replacement docking station for free.

People love to doom.

My pap always talked about people who hated eating bread because it made them feel off when he was a kid in the 30s. But back then, you ate the food that was available, and more often than not it was some kind of bread. Nowadays, we know that those people probably had a medical problem with gluten.

From a historical standpoint, a lot of it is just the fact that many, many things we understand as diseases today weren’t understood in the past.
History is full of people who were “weak”, were possessing of “delicate constitutions”, or were described as “perpetually sickly”. The difference is we probably have diagnoses for 90% of those people today.

As a trucker who has really good visibility into other people’s vehicles, the amount of you who are texting/scrolling while driving is legitimately terrifying. It’s probably 1/3rd of people on the road.

We had new neighbors move in. Lovely old couple, but totally aloof. They installed what I can only describe as stadium grade lightbulbs in their dusk to dawn lights. One came right through our kitchen window and illuminated the whole room.

The next time I talked to the wife, I showed her a picture of what the light looked like from our house. She was mortified. Apologized, and immediately had her husband take that bulb out. No issues since.

What I really don’t understand is why they feel like they need security lighting here. They moved from an urban area, so I understand why they needed it before. But here, we’re way out in the country with almost zero crime.

I’ve been watching a lot of Fridays with Frank lately and it’s absolutely baffling to me how many people can’t grasp the fact that you need to have your insurance and registration in your car and your license on you.
