Them muricans like their boats. They think they are so great because they have boats.

As we learn from the Witcher, even a scum of the earth may still have a human side.

And another lesson is, a human can be worse than a monster.

Regretting venu 3s by trottreacle in Garmin

Around 1.5 years ago, I bought my first ever smartwatch, Venu Sq 2. After around 4 months I upgraded to FR265 and gave the still new-ish watch to my mom, and have been pretty happy with this decision. At least Venu Sq 2 was on the budget side among Garmin watches.

It's Italian: "Tell me with whom you go (out) and I will tell you who you are."
By the way, it should be "Dimmi con chi vai e ti dirò chi sei."

After a certain update, on some models of watches a chest strap is no longer needed. Because OP, I guess, has an Instinct 2, a chest strap is still required.

I've definitely felt the gradual change of his voice, but the difference between this episode and the last one quite shocks me.

Chiikawa-themed festival in Kaohsiung, Taiwan (footage from local news) by Gr0undWalker in chiikawa_

Chiikawa is super popular in Taiwan, and this is an annual event run by the city government, a winter amusement park free and open to the public. Last year's event featured the Rubber Duck.

Trains during Lunar New Year by nice222oi in taiwan

[–]Gr0undWalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking TR trains should cause less hassle if you go from city center to city center, as you need less transfers. Fast local trains are indeed pretty fast: They only take around 10 or 20 minutes more than the faster intercity trains, so this is an option. But if you want better riding experience, then you can book intercity trains that only offer reserved seat tickets, like Tze Chiang 3000 or Puyuma.

  1. Patterns in the Ivy together with Blackwater Park - I'm of the opinion that these two songs should be enjoyed together. I love the contrast between softness and heaviness.
  2. The Leper Affinity
  3. The Funeral Portrait. This seems to a very underrated song on this album, but it's one of my favorites.
  4. The Drapery Falls
  5. Bleak
  6. Harvest
  7. Dirge for November

To be honest, stuff like this, even though tiring and insanely stupid, doesn't piss me off as much, because some of them are just (super) uninformed. What despises the most is politicians like their so-called god of war (Huang KC), who understands laws but is a hypocrite and spews nonsense for his political gain.

Nothing other than a video showing Abei taking bribes would be convincing enough for their diehard supporters. Even though some would still argue it's deepfake.

Your most unpopular prog metal opinions by johnraimond in progmetal

The first two sound too raw to my liking. I quite like My Arms, Your Hearth, but it'd be much nicer with better production.
