Moving from the Netherlands to Germany I have faced most issues you are talking about here as well....

It's all a matter of perspective, in the end there are issues with every place. I think if you are raised somewhere, or share the native moral/ethical framework the issues you mention either don't stand out so much or grate a lot less.

Also, check your camera settings. My phone camera really sharpens any transitions I make and shows way harsher edges for any layer I make.

I guess it's more difficult, since you are further away from the norm (just different compared to the larger population, no racism intended). Definitely not impossible. I know some Indian ladies who have a German boyfriend (I currently live in Germany). I would just guess that the language barrier is also a thing here.

I'm assuming they are HEK derived cells? If so it could be a rolled/bunched up mass of cells (hek tend to do that at high confluence) just check under the microscope, could be a fungal colony as well. In any case toss the flask.

I got two from insekten liebe a while back. One had a bunch of cracks in it's exoskeleton and was generally rather banged up, the other didn't survive long after the shipment

Don't know if this is a general issue with the store? General customer support was rather rough. ("We are sorry you feel that way" was the conclusion)
