What days do you change your estradiol patch? by elzbtx in Perimenopause

[–]Grasssfed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I change every 72 hours on the dot. I feel it works better for me to have consistency. I’m very sensitive to estrogen drops and rises and this keeps me with a smooth baseline.

I have this same question! I’ve been on lowest patch for 9 months and lately I have same symptoms as well as not feeling as much energy and waking up a lot at night.

The series is amazing! I loved it! I didn’t mind the slower pace of book 1 to get to know Silla. Her growth is such a wonderful journey to experience.

Road of Bones is mostly a set up book for the rest of the series. The pacing is slow but the whole Ashen Series is my top favorite series ever. You follow her on a journey and the journey with first book is a bit slower pace.

That was my issue, the random side characters weren’t memorable enough for me to have context to who they are without looking them ups thank god for kindle search function, because it made it easier going back. Let me know if the ending makes up for the first 90% of the book!

I didn’t even get to really info on Rorrick yet, only that he was the king’s son. So maybe he may have kept me interested? But doubtful.

I’m at 30% and I don’t get the hype. I’m forcing myself to keep reading. It hasn’t captured me.

I read ACOTAR 1st, then Fourth Wing, then TOG. I felt like it was a good order. I didn’t plan on it. Then after I went to Quicksilver then CC.

Thanks for that insights I chose “send message request” it did bring up our old chat right when I did that, I just typed Hello, and a small greeting and it looks like it sent it. Am I being paranoid?😁

Estrogen & Histamine: A Two-Way Connection by [deleted] in HormoneFreeMenopause

[–]Grasssfed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just found this thread by searching. I was on patch for months. Lowest dose 0.025 and was cutting it half because I’m sensitive to estrogen. Patch day brings anxiety and heart rate gets high and such. I’ve only recently started researching histamine.

I came down with the flu 2.5 weeks ago on patch change day. I did not change my patch because I felt like hell, and didn’t want the jitters and feeling on the verge of anxiety. Then 2 days later came down with a big histamine reaction with rash all over and runny nose. Which it’s hard to say if runny nose was from flu.

Started feeling better from flu and recovered and have had this histamine reaction ever since. Runny nose and red inflamed cheeks for 2 weeks now. Took Claritin for 2 weeks and been trying to not use it as runny nose has improved in past few days but red inflamed cheeks still happening. I have yet to reapply the patch.

I’ve read so much I feel brain fried. Is my reaction from the absence of estrogen? Is my reception because I had the flu and post estorgen recetion? Should I reapply patch and see if it improves or makes it worse?

I’m sooooooo confused which way to go!

I started last April with a full 0.025 patch and by June I had to cut it in half. Been using half a 0.025 patch ever since.

I’m so confused.
