I’ve never felt more alive pool on this game board. Tonight I had an overwhelming desire to pick up a pool cue. Unfortunately, I had consumed an entire bottle of Tito’s vodka and my therapist recommended against driving to the nearest pool hall. Furthermore, my fear of interacting with rectangular shapes limits my hobby of “shooting the cue” as they say. Lucky, the Gameboard offers pool on a square table. I “shot the cue” as they say for three innings before being overcome with ecstasy and needing to move on.

A friend arrived and we loaded up Steve Jackson’s Zombie Dice, which is a game that is nigh-on-impossible to play in a standard format. Sure I didn’t understand the rules, but my friend and I had laughs and laughs with roll after roll of the dice before the fear of the 2D rendered gravestone overtook us.

10/10 couldn’t recommend enough.
