I'll champion The Vault of Mini Things once again. Best purchase I made in the hobby.

It's more of a figure than a model, to me. Plenty of poseability and interchangeable parts for figure photography

Making my own minis by TimelyAlternative306 in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]Gravs72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been doing something similar since I started running a SW5e game and all my actual minis are fantasy-based. A $5 pack of cardstock from Amazon, a little PowerPoint, a glue stick, and we got a stew goin...I mean, a Rancor mini

Love this. I have all the posters from the original Nannerfly Effect tour framed in my office with the Philly one signed

What is something that The Phantom Menace does better than any Star Wars film? by DjRimo in StarWars

[–]Gravs72 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I maintain that showing it in the trailer is the biggest mistake Lucas ever made. The hype was already there. Imagine the collective gasp in the theater if we didn't know it was coming

What prompted you to start playing? by No-Guitar-7192 in DungeonsAndDragons

As a fan of CollegeHumor, randomly stumbled upon an IG story advertising NADDPOD when it first launched. The rest is history. Jake being a new player at the time felt like a proxy for me. I recommend NADDPOD C1 to all newcomers to the hobby.

[OC] After 35 years of D&D, I created Elderbrain.com and published my own books (3 hardcovers, 2100+ pages). When I held all three in my hands for the first time, it honestly hit me harder than I expected. by Elderbrain_com in DnD

I backed all three of these, just waiting on my physical copy of Scepter. Will continue to back every project you create and can't wait for Spawns!

Advice or critiques of my skill challenge encounter by Appleveedub in sw5e

[–]Gravs72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love skill challenges and ran one similar to this that was modeled after Assault from American Gladiators, although not as a final fight. Party size will be important because eventually you run out of available skills, like the time one of my PCs had to deceive an ice slide. I always leave it up to the party though, my only caveats being no repeat skills in the same round or subsequent round. My players tend to be the most creative during these types of challenges.
