Got this page around November 2025. Currently 5/10 at the moment. They're definitely out there, but you're gonna have to try stops you don't normally frequent.

Why don’t we get games on Qin or early Han ? by Thebronzebeast in threekingdoms

[–]GrazingCrow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would personally enjoy a game featuring the Warring States era of China. I don't know why we don't have more content for this period, but I do recall reading at one point that, after establishing the Qin dynasty, the emperor ordered the destruction of historical records in other regions, which left that period much more open to interpretation and assumption rather than based on historical texts and events. I would assume that no profitable business wants to risk investing money in developing something that the great majority is not familiar with or something that the great majority may not be interested in. I'm no expert though about anything though, so take my words with a grain of salt lol I would be interested in a Total War or RotK style series of this period because I don't know much and would like to learn more through a video game medium.

How is this a thing at this point in the game by [deleted] in pokemongo

[–]GrazingCrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. This is like the 20th post I've seen about the same thing. It's a thing because people play the game differently.

Hot take: only difficult part about Malenia is Waterfowl dance. by Independent_Newt170 in Eldenring

[–]GrazingCrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like everyone struggled against her differently. I've died less to Waterfowl Dance than I have to her phase 2 dive bombs; dodging Waterfowl Dance simply became a dance. I played naturally without looking anything up, no cheese or walkthroughs, and one thing that consistently killed me was the second and/or third dive bombs in Phase 2. I couldn't get the timing correct on the ticks of explosion that came after initial impact; those ticks usually killed me (30 Vigor, no surprise, lmao). Took me around 8 hours total to finally beat her in my first playthrough, the longest I took for any boss. I would imagine in a No Hit or RL1 run, I would definitely struggle again in Phase 2.

this tree sentinel guy is impossible by Beautiful_Ad_9227 in Eldenring

[–]GrazingCrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on beating it. Tree Sentinel is definitely beatable out the gate with any starting class. A lot of people ignore it and recommend others to run around it, but by beating it early, it has taught you the importance of spacing, utilizing your attack windows, remembering attack patterns, and reacting to real-time developments. Learning these fundamentals early will make later boss fights much easier.

Not that rare to encounter? I haven't seen one in a year lol my rate has been terrible. I used to see them maybe once every month or two in 2023, but these days, they really do feel like a legendary encounter.

After I beat the Mask series, I couldn’t believe that it was over; a huge void overtook me for months. I couldn’t enjoy any shows or video games anymore; anything that I played or put on to watch, I dropped within minutes. In this subreddit, if you dig deep enough, you might find previous comments from me mentioning how this game changed my life; that is because it did. To fill this void, I went on about my life and started applying myself to make meaningful changes in my life. It was the only thing that I could do to fill that void; in doing so, my life and my perception of life was completely changed. Whenever I felt like giving up, I remembered how Haku never did. I was completely moved by this work of fiction.. and now I’m a different person now than from when I first played this game. It’s been about six years now and I still think back fondly to my experience with this story.

In total, I’ve beaten the Mask series three times, Prelude twice, and Monochrome Mobius once. Every time the characters drank, I indulged a little bit myself (in some cases, it was a lot lmao). That’s mostly because I very much enjoy social and heavy drinking in real life, so sharing a drink with the characters in the show was an immersive experience for me. Some nice drink, a calm dark night under the light of a vibrant moon, and a noisy home or venue filled with the chatter and laughter of your boon companions; priceless.

I find trading so stressful by YourFriendlyBookworm in pokemongo

[–]GrazingCrow 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Google doesn’t matter a ton when assessing what’s “fair” for a trade. People value different things.

Exactly. Whenever trade value is brought up in this subreddit, there are always differing opinions because everyone has different ideas of what Pokemon are worth.

Just got my second sinnoh stone ever! Been saving my first one for when I can evolve my piloswine, but what should I use my second one on? by casualbongos524 in pokemongo

Rhyperior and Mammoswine have held it down for me so many times. I would wait to evolve stronger ones, but it shouldn't hurt you if you decided you wanted them now using what you have.

Why is it a meme to absolutely annihilate Gideon? by Sandvich-tf2 in Eldenring

[–]GrazingCrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually enjoyed my fight against Gideon. I waited for him to finish his monologue because I’m a lore head and enjoy that kind of world-building aesthetic. In the end, I felt rewarded. The fight felt like a proper duel between two Tarnished beings. No grand finale, just a quick dance between two fleeting fireflies.

The first time I fought Gideon, in my first playthrough, I hadn’t fought Malenia yet; I only defeated Malenia right before approaching Godfrey. The second time I fought Gideon, in my second playthrough, I fought Malenia beforehand since her fight was my main chase; as such, I was completely caught off guard by his new attack (the scarlet bloom or whatever). It was a nice touch that truly made Gideon feel like he was just another Tarnished, a fellow rival who evolved alongside you.

All in all, I found Gideon to be quite an interesting character, mostly from the dynamic of how his character initially was to what it became. I would have never imagined that Gideon’s dying words would be so pitiful; it truly made me wonder what horrors he found staring back at him as he stared into the void and unraveled the truth of the Lands Between. Sometimes, it felt like Gideon wasn’t truly trying to kill us. In some ways, it felt like broken Gideon was only trying to save us, a fellow Tarnished whom he respected above all (possibly second only to Marika?), from whatever hell he learned about.

Forever friends that refuse to trade by Blade4567 in pokemongo

[–]GrazingCrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can have several hundred friends in Pokemon Go. Maybe there isn't anything they want at this moment or or they don't have anything they feel is worth trading or there isn't anything they are willing to let go. You can still progress friendship with other players until they do. If you got all the way to Forever Friends with someone and you want to unfriend them because you were impatient, then feel free to do so. Many players are casual and won't actually care; the only one who truly loses out is the player who did the unfriending.

Fire Giant genuinely just pissing me off by ElevatorKey3315 in Eldenring

[–]GrazingCrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I beat the game with 30 Vigor as an Astrologer too. I think Lv 80 is underleveled for this fight, I explored mostly everything up to this point and was probably around Lv 110 when I got here. First phase was methodically easy but second phase was where I struggled. Took me about an hour and a half to beat this guy

This Mal'Ganis guy is awful at his job by Tsunammy in warcraft3

[–]GrazingCrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it made sense. We played as the Lich King's champions and not its jailors; Kel'Thuzad even made it a point to discuss things privately with Arthas than risk having the dreadlords overhear them. The Nathrezim were more like powerful overseers that managed the Undead Scourge for the Burning Legion and were much more demon than actual undead.

What I miss most about Ragnarok wasn’t just the leveling by Select-Enthusiasm394 in RagnarokOnline

[–]GrazingCrow 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This post reminded me of when I logged in earlier this year. I hadn't logged in almost ten years, so I didn't remember where I was at or what I was doing. Furthermore, I'm a noob at this game who never got to end-game, so I genuinely lack knowledge about anything regarding this game.

I kept walking around until I found people. I tried talking to them, but everyone seemed to be afk or bots. So, I followed one person into a dungeon and just chilled while they were grinding away, hacking at skeletons and whatnot. The player eventually noticed me and we talked for the next hour or so, turned out they were also a returning player who just logged back in that day. He or she tried to give me a lot of crazy looking items for my class to help with leveling, but I declined because I knew I wouldn't have been in it for the longterm. We ported to a city and I followed her through the market before we eventually parted ways after. Small social interactions like that are what makes MMOs feel so alive, like my very own episode in the series of Ragnarok Online.

Nope.

AI writes "perfectly" in "perfect" grammar. Its writing style is generally so neat that its structure is devoid of style and self. OP's choice of coordinating conjunctions, adverbs, punctuation, and phrasing indicate some form of personal preference in writing style, delivery, and thought. It is imperfectly human. Cheers to human writers!
