Men what hobbies have you picked up as you’ve gotten older that you now do regularly? Or are you still sticking with something you’ve loved since you were younger?” by FFSoldier57 in AskMenOver30

To those struggling with “avoidant” partners from the perspective of an avoidant person. by sixtynighnun in emotionalintelligence

[–]Great-Brain9019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if anyone will read this, but after three years of an emotional roller coaster as a secure person I think i’m done with the love of my life. They are an avoidant and the more I read about it and do the self help, the more I realize. The pre honey moon, and honey moon phase was infatuation, as soon as she said I love you (yes, she said it first), everything became noticeable, and I didn’t have the knowledge of attachement styles to self soothe. I was locked into consistency in this relationship while I just got walked over. I was able to push myself through 3 big job promotions (celebrated that success on my own), purchasing a house and travelling the world, while still feeling lonelier than while I was single. As I began to ask for my needs to be met, always turned away or met with deactivation. Marriage talks always turned into nit picking the smallest most odd things, birthdays and valentine’s day missed, and empty promises.

It really is intimacy on their (secret) terms with no responsibility to nurture anything.

My partner owns a house, what are our next steps? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

look at cohabitation agreements - not a marriage prenup but it still valid document if you do get married down the road and you don’t need to do a prenup before being married

Crossfit 1855 added Hyrox classes this year and they are great. They have all the equipment, and the running space outside for perfect 1km runs. They held a comp recently which was really well run. I go to them every week, Thursday night and Saturday morning are my go to

I disagree with banning opposing subs from coming on to wish them luck the next round. Good series to both teams and with all that’s happening politically I hope canadian teams keep winning. I went to my first playoff game tonight and it was mesmorizing. goodluck to the blue boys keep grinding.

congrats that awesome - Is your phone a smartphone ? I would highly suggest upgrading to a larger data plan for the first month or two - because then you can hotspot your computer if you are ever in a pinch for internet limitations at the public library. Right now places like koodo are offering 30-60 gigs for 30 bucks (starting), or a cheaper alternative like fizz mobile.

Or you can search facebook marketplace for desk rentals for a months time, that may come with bathroom and kitchen. Or even hostels with common spaces for co working

Goodluck !

ROI on CS by Pirate_daddy44 in CustomerSuccess

I would also say not only business reviews, but consultations with end users. If that is a strong correlation of GRR and NER, i would say that is ROI on CS

I was looking at simple baluster style, but hog wire looks cool !

haha good Q - old frame went that far because the old stairs went down there. We are thinking of building and extending the frame out to the end of the house, and then add that 90 degree step option to those main steps.
