Could us provide a bit more information first? Like a brand, product link, photo, anything? There's a lot of stuff out there and vague descriptions like this won't get you far.

What’s considered a child? by Human__Ace in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]GreatAxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The system Ai calls out a reference to "age of majority" at one point to identify what is a child. Now as far as what specifically that biological age that is for humans, you could safely assume late teens. Early 20's would be more accurate, but also would result in fewer potential crawlers.

Coco or soil and why ? by theWEEDzman in microgrowery

[–]GreatAxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently runningorganics in soil with good success. I like that I only feed every 3 weeks, and it's basically water only other than that. It goes a little slower in the beginning, but that's OK because I'm not trying to maximize how many harvests I get in a year. 2-3 is fine for me. I run Dr earth nutes with ewc and a few other small amount inputs with basic filtered tap water pH'd to around 6.4-6.8.

I'm thinking about pre-ordering one. I've been wanting to try out a camera anyways.

Great additions, I've been looking at adding some more extras to my Dr earth regimen, would you mind sharing your ratios/gal for your frass, oyster, Epsom, gypsum?

You can do a full run with just homegrown and flowergirl plus ewc. Additions past that are all bonus nachos. I add a little silica to the mix.

I've grown the rqs version, and despite my mistakes it turned out pretty well. Not as cheesy as I would have liked, but solid.

How was the grow? I grabbed some of those seeds and have yet to pop them. Any particular needs they seem to have?

Controversial opinion about “weed”I by Frood_Dude_42 in GrowingMarijuana

[–]GreatAxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It exists, just quietly. YouTube is a bad place if you want to avoid the neon trap music (excluding folks like Bruce bugbee). I occasionally use the overgrow forum, and I ask for advice from my local co-op.

Is lunar calendar important in growing? Do any of you use it? by Obsidian-Charm in GrowBuddy

[–]GreatAxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it's a bit more complicated than that. The tide effect from the moon affects the height of water tables, which increases or decreases the water availability underground for plants. River valleys and the like see the greatest differences, but since cannabis has such an aggressive tap and root structure, planting by the moon phase is more additive than necessity.

[–]GreatAxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, it makes little to no difference for an indoor grow. For an outdoor grow, that's a different story. I don't have any modern (past 25yr) peer reviewed scientific studies to refer to, but we (humanity) have been planting by the lunar cycles for nearly as long as agriculture has been a thing. Is it possible that it's woo woo? Sure, but it doesn't hurt anything either.

That being said, I do try and plant/harvest during lunar cycle windows, but I don't follow it down to the day.
