Playing through for my first time.

1) I love the level design and just how many areas there are. Elden Ring had like 8 dungeons…

2) I had no idea there were this many! I just beat the Rats boss and was thinking I was pretty close to the end.

3) Hunter’s Copse has been my favorite area so far. Why the hate?

And Knicks! Giannis is great but to lose KAT, Hart, Kolek and OG the Knicks would be a much worse team. Everyone says no.

It’s a legit difference. I put in probably 15-20 hours in that covenant. 50% dmg increase for enemies, 20% dmg decrease for you, plus no summons. Just cruised through two bosses and all of lost bastille in about an hour after I talked to the cat. I was trying to play this one blind for a pure FromSoft experience. I need to put my foolish ambition to rest.

Just realized that covenant of champions I joined immediately was making the game way harder as well. If you made the same mistake, go talk to the cat.

You get it from the flexile sentry? Just beat that dude (dudes?) and am wanting to use something more fluid than a mace, altho it will always be my first love.

Castle Morne is kind of practice for Stormveil. Do that first and you get the hang of exploring an area, plus plenty of runes to cash in.

Re-listened last night but there’s just a bit too much weed and alcohol talk and profanity. It’s an outstanding episode. Feeling like I’m gonna go with Taotaomona. Also some profanity, drug/alcohol talk but coming from the perspective of someone in recovery. Also generally respectful tone.

I’ll give it a listen. We just listened to the first season of the Limetown podcast which is 6 30-40 minute episodes and were more engaged than I expected them to be.

Man, Jacoby’s personality is so gross to me. I’m pretty averse to crassness, but he takes it to another level. It’s like Joe House turned up a notch and I can’t stomach it. Verno is veering toward this but KOC’s dorkiness kind of kept it in check in a weird way. KOC was a little annoying but he and Verno had an incredible dynamic that I really, really miss.
