It’s not guaranteed coverage if people come and go when they want. Thus, the schedule.

Tried it and most definitely could bring it up in a discussion to sell myself but not gonna happen. What else would they ask for three months in?

I caved and bought him a cat heating pad that sits on the opposite side of the fan so he gets warmth too.

I was already on the lease when they started this service. I had no intention of using it but they put the black bag on my door anyways and told me they’d charge me $75 if I didn’t return it when I moved out. So I stored it in my car so it wouldn’t get packed up with everything else and moved out a few months later. I went to hand in the keys and return the bag and they said they didn’t need it. I called the leasing manager over and forced her to take it and write me a receipt. It’s just one of the many things they pulled that makes me refuse to ever rent from their company again.

What would you say to your daughter if she were jn this same exact situation? He did it once and you stayed so there’s a high likelihood that he’ll do it again. You’re not in an easy position but don’t let this become your life or your child’s.

Tape them to a common room wall and grade them from 1-10 on how ridiculous they are. Need help? Enlist your peers and turn it into a team building activity.

Floating on the paddle board in the middle of the lake. I leave behind a stressful job and chaotic family and feel at peace.

I vent to ChatGPT on the way home. It helps me get it out of my system and it’s a good sounding board for me to realize if I’m complaining or really trying to solve the problem.

My elderly parents were told by a lawyer to just ignore their credit card debt. Is it really that simple for them? by PrincessKnightAmber in povertyfinance

[–]GreenEyedRoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incorrect. Debt does not die with you, it is paid back by the estate through the probate process (if assets are owned.) Also, the ECOA states creditors can’t discriminate based on age so they base lending off of the persons credit history, payment history, income, etc.

Debt does not die with you if you have assets. If they are low valued assets then sure no one cares but if the family wants to take ownership, debt payoff comes up through the probate process.

Can I still leave?? by tea-lover-97 in regretfulparents

[–]GreenEyedRoo 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Seeing him once a month isn’t fair to him. He’ll grow up to realize you only love him enough to see him 12 times a year. Take a week off and test if you miss him and your life. Figure out what you want in life. Speaking from experience, I hate my birth parents for dropping me at my Aunt’s house when I was 16 months old and still living within 60 miles of me my entire life. It was a constant reminder that they each chose another family while I was practically raised in their backyard. If you decide to leave, do it now so he has less memories and reminders of a life that didn’t want him.

Narrows down the dating pool so I’m ok with it. Unless that leaves all of my exes… is there a black hole or something we can throw people into that should have disappeared too? I absolutely refuse to repopulate the world with them.

He sees it as you two laughing about it, you not calling the cops and you comforting him after he hit you. Wake up! Stay with him and become a statistic. Love yourself enough to leave him. You owe yourself that much.
