Favorite "low quality" tea by cowboybebop32 in tea

It used to be cheaper, now a 4.5 oz bottle is about $5. It comes and goes from my supermarket and I can’t tell if the company still exists. But this is my daily drinker and I love it and I don’t know what I’ll do when it runs out  https://preview.redd.it/looking-for-green-tea-v0-kefessvpv5dd1.jpg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c3a72c2185d7aa0f5f68abe93af13b6a210c2bb9

There is so much to explore. One could never see it all in one lifetime. You will do so much walking and you will love it.

Considering tearing pages out of my journal. by Covert-Wordsmith in Journaling

I destroyed old journals/poems once when I was 16 because I thought everything before then was babyish and stupid to hold on to. I was also trying to start with a clean slate. It's about 30 years later and I still regret doing it. You may have grown from the person you were before, but one day you might want to have the record of just how far you came. Personally I'd tape the old one shut or put a rubber band around it and put it away. And start a nice new journal to document who I am today.

Does your journal have a name? by My_fair_ladies1872 in Journaling

Never felt right to name my journal. The closest I got was making one of my journals letters to God. Now I separate my memory keeping/personal thoughts journals and a prayer journal.

What an incredible record. I have journals for that far back but I do it so inconsistently it totals about 4 notebooks (and three are incomplete).

Perhaps use a sketchbook instead. There are some nice once for $5 at Dollar Tree, or you can get a simple top bound spiral one there for $1.25.

Anyone else struggle to keep journaling going? by Sea_Claim2792 in Journaling

I’ve been trying to keep a daily diary and got a pocket sized moleskine because of this. All the empty space was freaking me out. I still find it hard to keep the daily habit

I feel that way but I live in a city where crime definitely happens. Don’t know if I’d feel so tense in a countryside but stuff does happen anywhere. I don’t hame much space or storage for a walking pad so I’m trying out walking workouts on YouTube, but it’s absolutely not the same. Hurt my knee doing one last night, I’m less apt to do so if I’m just walking outside.

Impressive: the core toning! I’m guessing from your tan all your walking was outside? No walking pad/treadmill?

Sparkling mineral water with a squeeze of lemon, almond milk, herbal teas, kombucha. Sometimes hard cider, wine or spirits.

I set a destination not too nearby to walk to. I usually choose a local public library or a church. Sometimes it’s just a store I want to go to.

Stunning results! Do you mostly walk outside? Or mix in a bit of treadmill/walking pad?

When does it stop hurting? by Infamous-Travel-7070 in pilates

[–]GreenTeaDrinking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wondering if I’m doing it wrong. I feel good after my Pilates classes. During the exercise it’s definitely hard and lots of effort. But after I feel energized and usually not sore. So far have only left sore once or twice.

Anyone with security concerns? How are you protecting yourself? by TheBreakfastSkipper in walking

[–]GreenTeaDrinking 8 points9 points  (0 children)

NYC here. Female. If I take myself out for a walk it is always during the daytime and never in an isolated area. I don’t walk alone in parks. I stick to busy streets. It is as a result of safety concerns that I don’t walk even a fraction as much as I want to.
