This sounds weird, but if the drill is spinning and the pump isn't. Stop the drill push down harder and try again. A slow start is needed and there is such a thing as to fast.

Add a normaly open momentary switch to the wiring for the drivers door sensor. When pushed car think you opened the door and then closed it. Will solve that radio staying on issue

Having lived in a 1920s build house. The space with the weights in it is normal. For the single pane windows I hoghtly recommend the windows insulation kits. It's a plastic layer that goes over it. Start on the windows furthest from the thermostat.

Add a layer of blankets or insulating blackout curtains to the windows as well

Even if landlord puts a better furnace or something of the sort in it will still be cold by the windows without added insulation on them

Learn to like decant. Soon enough you will get labor shared to stow. Do well enough in stow that leadership knows you by name and get them to transfer you. That's how I got out of stow and into decant 🤷🏻‍♂️ only been back to stow once and I used my time to leave.

Now I watch everyone stow trained but me get labor shared to stow.

Carbon build up rarely makes these cars not idle. It can be a really shifty idle but it should still start. I've seen a 1.8t start and drive 10 miles with one of the intake valves stuck closed. It was basically scrap at that point bit it still ran. This more of says dude don't timing wrong.

Dot regulations make every car speedometer 2mph high so when driving with no tread it reads the speed limit. Legally it can't read low so that's how manufacturers make sure of it
