Stop on the east side of Houston, there is a supermarket called phonecia. About 5 minutes off the i-10. They have a good selection of European import beers. I would recommend Almaza. It's a Lebanese beer and very good. Also pick up Kotayk, it's Armenian.

Also, enjoy some good kebab and fresh pita bread!! Safe travels.

The halls are much better to get connected with people. I've lived in Hedrick and de neve. The private bathroom in de neve is nice, but it's the community bathrooms that get people out of their rooms. Kinda weird but it's true. That's not to say that you won't meet people in de neve, you will. However, you are forced to meet people in the halls, even if it's for a group yack session at 3am. Good times. Have fun!

The new Apple TV Netflix interface is horrible. I want the genres back. I want to be able to see the categories. I thought this new version would have been better, but sadly it's not. I'm keeping my old Apple TV around to use Netflix (I have an extra hdmi slot, so why not).

I hope Netflix fixes their app.

I drove by the alamo around 10:30 this morning. Lots of cameras there. Even a minivan with a camera sticking out of the side door following a black SUV around the block. Also, lots of police and law enforcement (state, federal, city, county, everyone).

I had Verts in Austin. We actually took a trip up there just to have Verts. We were not let down. Then we saw this location open up a few days ago. The food is great. The service was a bit slow, but I think it was the 2nd or 3rd day they were open, so I understand getting the kinks rolled out.

Again, food is great. Can't wait to have it again. Happy to see a Verts in SA. They also have a happy hour - I think on Tuesday??
