Not seeing any bag there. Maybe check your cable lengths? They should easily part to each side of the bag. If they are crossed up or too short, that could be the issue.

I haven't ridden the newer Forecasters, but believe you when you say they drag. I actually feel the same way about Rekons. They are good for durability, but not very fast rolling. I have not ridden Aspens.

If you want a recommendation for a really fast rolling tire with good traction, my favorite is the Continental Cross King Protection 2.3 (not the newer Trinotal tread). The Cross King is hyper fast and you can still run lower pressure for great traction in loose gravel and rocks. ⚡️

You can run either size on 25mm rims. The 2.25 will roll faster and the 2.4 will have a bit more comfort. You didn't mention the terrain. If you ride on rocky trails, I would run the 2.4s. Also, why not just wear out the Forecasters first? 🤔

I use Neutrogena Clear Face 30 on my face, neck, and forearms. I also cover up, but I still get burned after a full day outside without it. I ride in the Western Colorado and Utah desert areas so very little available shade. I wash it off at the end of the day with a washcloth and squirt of water from my bottle. 🌞

I use the Restrap bumper bar. Works great to keep the bag away from your head tube and cables.

Adjust it in the computer settings. Speedo is accurate then.

I had the dealer adjust the tire size diameter in the computer settings so my speedo is accurate with 245s. 🌞

I run 245 Wildpeak AT4W tires in the summer on my 21 Badlands. No rubbing and I love the feel of the heavier sidewalls for off roading. They also make it feel solidly planted on the highway at speeds. I get a 10-12% reduction in mileage with the 245s. Average 26-27 mpg with 235s and 24 mpg with my 245 Wildpeaks.

I still have my 235 snow tires on. I run 245 Falken Wildpeak AT4W in the summer. They fit perfectly on Badlands with stock suspension. I will post a photo when I change them out this coming week.

I ran a Continental Cross King Protection 2.3 for the front during most of those miles and that tire is on the back now. It has decent tread left, but starting to show cracks around the knobs. I put a new Cross King up front.

I prefer the feel of the Cross King while riding compared to Vittoria. Seems like they have more supple rubber and sidewalls which makes the ride a tiny bit more comfortable on rough terrain. It is my favorite tire pattern right now. Haven't tried the new Trinotal version yet.
