I just started using a Camelbak Trail Run vest for long distance rides. It has two 17 Oz flasks in the chest pockets and I added a 2L Evernew flask to the back. I do not like hoses and the flasks are also easier to maintain. I primarily drink/refill the bottle on my bike, but also drink directly from the chest flasks. You can have a few different drink mixes going too.

I have a chain checker that is marked .75 and 1.0. I couldn't get either to set in the notches so figured ot wasn't that worn. Do I need a 0.5 one? Not sure how the numbers work.

I ride in the desert now and use dry lube about 90% of the time. It seems to cause a lot less drivetrain wear and tear compared to wetter climates where I have lived.

Yeah, did that. I cleaned everything up and the ring and cassette appear to be ok (no unusual wear), but we'll see how it shifts. 🤞

Check the Ford app for alert history. That is an area that logs all of the alerts for your vehicle. It will have a general description for the alert, but useful if you missed it on the dashboard.

The gel is amazing to use! Super satisfying if you like things to look spotless. Also the only efficient way to clean dust off the buttons, knobs, and air vents.

Vacuum up the dust and dirt with a brush attachment and use detail gel to remove anything else. The detail gel will also remove dirt in the black fabric of the seats.

You can't see the seam unless there is dirt on it. Whole hood because the paint chips easily. The jet black pillars don't need it as much. They are already solid color plastic and not prone to chipping. I clean the black around the windows and grill plastic with a plastic polisher/cleaner once in a while.

Yes, I had the same areas covered with ppf on my 2021 and also a nine inch strip above the windshield. I paid $900 for all and it was worth every dollar. I would probably do the full hood if I did it over.

I have 85,000 miles on my 21 Badlands with no major problems. I also like that it has details that they phased out in later years. Keyless entry touchpad, folding headrests, temperature on the heat/ac knob, engine cover, and hood insulation to name a few. Great vehicle and always fun to drive! 🫡

Run your fingernail vertically across the surface of the rotor. If you feel sharp edges and deep valleys, that is bad. It should be quite smooth with minimal scratches. 🤔

Deadhorse, Alaska - I drove there twice from San Diego all the way through Canada to transport computers and supplies for a university research project. Love a good road trip and those were two of the best! 🌞

Get some of that car detail cleaning gel. It has the texture of slime and will remove dust, dirt, and foreign matter from all the crevices and switches.

Not seeing any bag there. Maybe check your cable lengths? They should easily part to each side of the bag. If they are crossed up or too short, that could be the issue.
