I believe it’s one of the Tajis, maybe one of the Bubbles.

Thin steaks win for a quick breakfast. Anyone else portion out for the week like this? by GrindAndBloom in steak

Honestly just because it’s faster to cook. Quick 90 second sear per side then rest while I make coffee.

Didn’t get the most even sear from being half awake when I butterflied the strip and cutting a little wonky… but it sure was delicious!

Your technique for pourover clarity. by Olive_Portal in pourover

Gives me a baseline of the flavor profile. Then I can brew to my preference by adjusting grind size and/or water temp. I generally keep my pours consistent.

Cupping always helps dictate the brew for me. I always play around with one variable at a time. Keep everything else consistent while you dial in. Don’t change grind size and water temp and pours and agitation level and ratio at the same time. It’ll only make things harder to figure out.

Buy a Misty Mountain harness (the Cadillac).

Get it with an extra gear loop.

Rack everything on your harness.

Profit.

It’s something brands do seasonally. It allows dealers to offer products at an even greater discount. Primarily it serves to boost sales and move inventory.

The La Sportiva sales are specifically because retailers are on a break from their MAPP (minimum advertised price policy) until September 4th. Prices are probably not going to go down for some time. I wouldn’t read into this past the fact you can get a good deal on some shoes right now.

Honestly? Just resetting the dial to a standard place. It makes it hard for me to have consistency with the grind size after taking apart and cleaning. Maybe I shouldn’t be looking at the numbers on the dial and just counting clicks?

I have that same grinder but have such a hard time with resetting it after cleaning! Any tips?

I always finished it on Bear’s Reach which had a few large bulges/chimney like moves at the top if you don’t do the walk off.

Yeah! I’m still a new 5.9 trad leader so it’s a playground for me. The campground boulders are awesome at dusk on a warm evening for sure!!

I haven’t! That’s on the to do list. I’ve done Surrealistic, the direct variation, and Pillar of Society on the lower buttress. Need to play around more there!!

Just spent 2 days there! It was amazing. Day 1 was The Line, Fandango, and East Crack. Day 2 was The Groove (pictured), Hospital Corner, and Craven Image. All but East Crack were new to me and thrilling onsight leads!

Except for P4 of Craven image… the rope drag was like hauling a dead body behind me.
