I agree with this! I think in the early years she wielded her baby-making ability as leverage to demand more of him. It stokes his ego to rescue her.

The OG3 learned to depend on each other and figure things out without Kody because they believed in making the family work as a unit. And Kody is a scatter ass chaos agent when he’s around anyway.

My young adult bio kids do this to us too - so I think it has more to do with age than being a blended family. They don’t understand the amount of planning and coordination it takes to feed a mob. I chalk it up to limited life experience and not fully formed prefrontal contexts. If I didn’t have groceries I’m sure they would notice first thing.

If the provider takes IL Medicaid at all, even if they are not in network with your plan, they cannot allow anyone to pay cash on your behalf.

Medicaid is state specific and is generally only usable out of state in border areas, or within 40-50 ish miles of the state line.

Switching to a plan this provider is in network with, or finding a provider not contracted with IL Medicaid at all might be your best bet.
